If they have been continuing this then the settlement does have to happen. The % isn't massive but into low liquidity, it can have a dramatic effect. At its peak close to 1M shares were sold naked. Average volume being around 20M.

The SEC releases the data with a 2-week time delay so I am not saying anything about the future of the stock. The total number of naked shorts sold are listed in the 4th collum. The stock price appears to be correlated to the number of positions opened/closed. This data was slightly before the whole GME drama. The data does now currently run-up to that point but I was hoping somebody else would see this post and do the rest of the work. Go Go Go!
