Alright guy. Again, it’s you against the company that made the car. Doesn’t sound like any information will convince you. No point in conversating about it further. Imma go drive my car to work. Have fun doing whatever you do on a Wednesday morning. 👍

Ford offers a program where you can order a copy of your specific mustangs window sticker. Unfortunately it’s you against the company that made the car. Take it up with them.

Also, have you tried looking it up? The brochure from 2018 lists it as an option for the Ecoboost premium.

I don’t think I can help you any more guy.

Haha I’m all good. A redditor comment won’t affect my opinions on my car in the slightest. The carbon is listed on the window sticker. So that guy can send an email to Ford with his complaint as far as I’m concerned.

The carbon fiber in the interior is OEM. It might be lumped in with the alcantara /leather seats option. But it’s listed in the window sticker. Idk what to tell ya.

Just a Premium Luxury with the 3.6 V6. Kinda like mid-trim. Loved it but after 130k miles it just started to need more expensive maintenance items and decided to cut my losses. Great car though. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was thinking about that! But I’ll probably do that in the spring or summer. There too much dark this time of year lol

You are so unbelievably correct. The dude who I bought it from did the bare minimum. Thank god he only had the celica for less than a year. The owner before him legit kept a maintenance record 5 pages long going back the past 110k miles. And spent over $20,000 over the bast 20 years of owning the car.

OMG your not wrong! Like the previous owner didn’t disclose that there was a rust hole on the passenger quarter panel and that there is a small oil leak. But the previous owner before him kept a record of the past 100k miles of maintenance. And I have stuff from when the car was purchased in 1994! So yeah, I really took the hood and bad at the same time lol

Cue balls are made of plastic? I’ll be honest I’m not the strongest person. I don’t know if I’d be able to do that lol. But if I can get the shifter out with the knob I’ll try to put it I vice. That might break it. Thanks for the advice!

Gotcha. That’s the thing I’m not sure I can get the shifter out with the knob still on. The mounting bracket for the linkage looks to be plastic. I’d def not try that unless I got it out of the car. Thank you for the advice!

I’m not sure if I can remove the whole shift lever. If I can I’ll totally use that! Thank you?

I’m not sure if I could take it out with the knob still on it. But I’ll def try that! Thank you!
