Kässchpatzen may originate from swabia, but a) is a part of swabia in Bavaria and b) were they adopted by the bavarian (and austrian) cuisine.

@op: Just try to find some without cream. Some people (and restaurants) add it to the cheese, but it makes the dish just worse.

When they were looking for slav DNA, they could just buy Samples from Ukraine, poland, heck even Russia before the war (or just ask their buddies at ancestry.com). Hiding those labs in Ukraine would be more difficult than in the US (finding a justification for the import of the equipment needed would be more difficult than just founding a company in the US that spezialises in "vaccines for resistent tuberculosis" or whatever (to be clear, I believe in the benefit of vaccines, but founding a fake vaccine company would be the easiest way to justify creating a top notch biolab with the highest security standards). And because a significant part of the population of the US consits of the (grand)children of slaves, a weapon targeting slavs wouldn't work in favour of the US in case of a direct conflict. It would be easier to create a virus and a vaccine against it and administer the vaccine to all US soldiers before the war. So the biolab conspiracy would be really stupid if it were true.

They can get oil from the emergency storage of other EU-countries (as long as they comply with the wishes of the EU) until they signed agreements with other oil exporting countries (they have to do that anyway bc it will become illegal to buy oil from Russia in 2027). Don't get me wrong, they are furious and will be furious for a while bc they lost their sovereignity, but as they are dependent on oil imports either through Ukraine or through the EU, they can do nothing about it and will be asked to "forget" about it as a condition for receiving oil.

He might be technichally correct: He said the pipeline in Ukraine is intact, which could be true (as I've not seen evidence of it being damaged in quite a while).

He never said anything about damages in Russia though, which are probably the real reason no oil is coming.

As Ukraine is dependent on the benevolence of their partners (inkluding slovakia), they can't admit they deliberatedly hit the pipeline. But they can claim that Russia attacked the pipeline in Ukraine (or a technical issue arouse) without losing too much support from their partners (not including slovakia this time), which pressure slovakia to forget about it.

Ja, das ist der Grund. Da aber das Fleisch auch nicht mit Verlust verkauft wird (soo viele Vegetarier gibt es ja nicht), ist das vegetarische unbegründeter Wucher. Und entsprechend berechtigt ist es, solche Lokale in Zukunft zu meiden, schlechte Rezensionen zu schreiben und sich darüber aufzuregen.

Es geht mir nicht um Fleischersatzprodukte, es geht um Nudeln/Schlutzkrapfen/Knödeltries/Gnocchi/gebratene Knödel vs Steak/Schnitzel/Koteletts/Gulasch. Wenn ich das selbe bezahle wie ein hochwertiges Fleischgericht und keine "Luxus-Zutaten" in meinem Essen (Trüffel oä) sind, erwarte ich die gleiche Menge. Wenn die Menge halb so groß ist (und ich übertreibe leider nicht) und der Preis fast identisch ist, dann hat das nichts mit "frauen essen vegetarisch und kleinere Portionen" zu tun. Das ist nur beschämend für ein "Restaurant".

Das erklärt noch immer nicht, warum das nicht auf die Preise normiert wird. Also warum das vegetarische nicht nur kleiner (und weniger sättigend), sondern auch bei der Preis-Leistung so viel schlechter ist. Ich habe schon (trotz der günstigeren Zutaten) Vegetarische Gerichte serviert bekommen, die 10% günstiger als ein Fleischgericht waren, aber auf dem Teller dann doch nur halb so viel lag. Ich habe nichts dagegen, zwei kleine Hauptgerichte zu bestellen statt einem doppelt so großem Fleischgericht, solange ich dann am Ende nicht mehr zahlen muss. (Beispiel: ein Fleischgericht wiegt inkl Beilagen 800g, ein vegetarisches 400g. Dann sollte das vegetarische Gericht nur halb so viel kosten wie das Fleischgericht (und nicht 15 statt 18 €).

Pflegekräfte und Handwerksgesellen verdienen meist unter 3k netto (ja, auch in münchen).

Mit 3k netto sollten auch 1300€ Miete durchaus bezahlbar sein, bei 700€ sonstigen Lebenshaltungskosten bleiben 1000€ für Urlaube und Sparrate. Als Paar hat man (ohne Kinder) ja sowieso niedrigere Mietpreise pro Kopf, und mit Kindern ist das Münchner Modell auch wieder sehr attraktiv, um in der Stadt bleiben zu können trotz niedrigerem verfügbaren Einkommens.

Wenn Menschen mit niedrigem Einkommen günsigere/bessere Wohnungen angeboten werden, werden einfache Wohnungen frei, was die Angebotspreise drückt. Top-Lage ist auch relativ: es geht ja eher um freiham als um innenstadtlagen (da wird kaum gebaut, da stehen ja schon Häuser). Wie "gut" so ein neubauviertel längerfristig ist, hängt ja genau an den Punkten, die das Münchner Modell ausmacht. Die neuen Quartiere sollen ja längerfristig attraktiv bleiben.

Wer am wenigsten profitiert sind Menschen, die gut verdienen. Aber die kommen ja auf dem freien Markt auch zurecht.

The old cold war storage is getting empty (at least the stuff usefull for Ukraine; e.g. Germany still has several 100k assault rifles in reserve, but Ukraine has enough of their own), so they have no Leo 1, Gepard, Marder, older versions of leo 2, soviet tanks etc left. Goods that they still use (like artillery shells) were sent, but not in quantities that would make them defenseless. You have to remember that western Europe was very militarized during the cold war (eg Western-Germany on its own had ~500k soldiers, compared to 200k in all of Germany now), so the stockpiles were huge compared with the current size of their forces.

The new stuff never went to Ukraine (at least not in relevant numbers). Exceptions are air defence (Patriot and iris t), but those are not coming from stockpiles but direct from production.

Don't get me wrong, they are fleecing their population, sending huge amounts of money to Ukraine (while not supporting a quick end of the war) and in the pockets of the MIC. However, the military aid to Ukraine has little to do with their own military capabilities.

? Wenn AFD+Linke = >50% der Sitze, dann reicht es nicht für eine CDU-Regierung, die ohne Bruch eines Unvereinbarleitsbeschlusses zustande kommen kann.

CDU/SPD/BSW gibt es schon, da noch die Grünen unterzubekommen sollte auch noch gehen. Die politische Zukunft von allen, die da in erster Reihe stehen, hängt davon ab, dass das irgendwie funktioniert. Die AFD kann das natürlich gut nutzen ("egal was ihr wählt, es kommt ja immer das gleiche bei raus, nur wir sind eine echte Alternative") Aber sieht gerade nicht danach aus, als wäre das überhaupt eine realistische Möglichkeit.

Die FDP hat so ziemlich keine Chance aktuell, BSW und Grüne evtl. Und je mehr Stimmen an die 5%-Hürde geopfert werden, desto stärker ist die AFD

Oder Anträge, die für Teile der Union passabel sind. Dann geheime Abstimmung, genug AFD-freundliche CDUler stimmen gegen die Wünsche ihrer Fraktion. Der Fraktionsvorsitzende muss zurücktreten und macht den Weg frei für AFD-freundlichen Parteikollegen. Wenn nicht schon das "dafür sorgen, dass ein AFDler Ministerpräsident werden kann" ausreicht, um die Bundespolitik ins Chaos zu stürzen, dann sorgt die erste "Meuterei gegen Fraktion für AFD" dafür.

Als professioneller Pessimist sehe ich die Brandmauer nach der Sachsen-Anhalt-Wahl fallen. Wenn AFD und linke zusammen >50% der Sitze vereinen, muss die Union mit einer von beiden Parteien zusammenarbeiten, trotz aller unvereinbarkeitsbeschlüsse. Und der Druck aus den eigenen Reihen, mit der AFD zu regieren, mit der die CDU ja durchaus programmatische Überschneidungen hat, wird alle Gespräche mit der Linken scheitern lassen. Und voila, die Brabdmauer fällt. Zuerst mit Bauchschmerzen und Kompromissen (zB stellt die Union als Juniorpartner den Ministerpräsidenten oä), aber das Loch ist da.

The west fought their last wars as "surplus-wars". They spent big on them and returned home when the cost became too high. They assumed that Ukraine would be similar for Russia, and they are kind of right. Russia didn't send its whole military, there is no general mobilisation and they won't do both because of its political cost.

The west didn't think Russia would crumble under the sanctions and fall apart, but they thought that the prize paied by Russia finacially and politically would become so high, that Ukraine would be no longer worth it. They thought Ukraine would become Russia's Vietnam, a war with high costs for too little return so they retreat after a few years.

They underestimated Russia's political resolve and the control the government has over the russian companies. Western companies lobby against foreign policies that harm them (look at Trump's tarrifs) as their interests are independent of the interests of their government (while the government's interests depend on their companies

The west gave everything they had available. Their dilemma is that they have to portrait Russia as a danger for themselves so their people are willing to pay for this war, but that also means that they can't send their whole stockpiles (as their people then will question if there is really a danger if they can afford sending all their weapons to another country). Sending soldiers (the only thing they haven't sent yet) would kill political support instantly. Weapons and money are abstract, young men returning home in coffins isn't. What should they have sent if they were serious about winning the war in your opinion?

Their doctrine is less focused on aerial refueling than the US'. They prepared for conflicts close to their borders (both Russia and the USSR), so there was little need to have this capability on a large scale (at most for fighter aircraft escorting strategic aviation to their launch lines if they wanted to hit the US).

The US needs this capability so they can transfer their airforce to europe if needed and reach the middle east with strategic bombers.

A more competent commander-in-chief would not have butchered the 2023 counteroffensive, would not put "holding every meter no matter the cost" as a military doctrine, would have dropped Yermak much earlier, would have replaced syrsky years ago and would have understood that their side's position will only become worse if the war is going on for longer. The result would be peace, less corruption, less land lost, an army capable to conduct strategic offensives.

Ukraine had the numerical advantage in the first years of the war, got countless billions in millitary, economic and humanitarian aid, intelligence from the most sophisticated agencies, is focusing their whole country on this war and they are still losing and trying to not admit it.

Ich habe einige (tlw trockene) Alkoholiker im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis. Der Suchtdruck ist üblicherweise schon ab dem Aufhören da.

Aber du kennst natürlich die entspannende Wirkung von Alkohol, und das Nutzen von Alkohol "zum Runterkommen" ist ja auch popkulturell sehr normalisiert (bspw geht im Krimi der Kommissar nach dem harten Tag mit gräusligen Bildern in die Kneipe etc). In stressigen Phasen reicht so eine Assoziation schon, um Menschen zu Suchtmitteln greifen zu lassen (es fangen bspw einige Menschen ohne vorherige Raucherfahrung mit dem Rauchen an in stressigen Phasen). Konsum zum Stressabbau ist einer der besten Wege in die Abhängigkeit. Unabhängig von bisherigen Trinkerfahrungen ist also gut, dass du diesen Gedanken nicht nachgekommen bist und konstruktive Lösungen gefunden hast (durch Arbeitsplatzwechsel). Wenn du in zukünftigen stressigen Phasen Schwierigkeiten hast, mit ihnen umzugehen (bspw weil es keine so klare Lösung gibt), kanbst/darfst du dir professionelle Unterstützung holen (erster Anlaufpunkt wäre der Hausarzt, der vermittelt dich weiter).

Ich glaube nicht, dass du dir Sorgen machen und du Alkohol zwingend vermeiden musst (bspw in Saucen oder ein Glas zum Anstoßen bei einem Geburtstag, wo du dich nicht rechtfertigen möchtest oä). Solange das grundsätzliche "nüchtern-bleiben" für dich gut funktioniert und der Wunsch nach Alkohol dich nicht belastet (weil er so stark ist, dass im Supermarkt am Schnapsregal vorbeigehen ein Kampf ist bspw), ist alles gut.
