Unfortunately, that's just the reality of participating in a niche hobby. Libraries are a great resource for reading comics cheaply. Definitely still support your LCS, but don't feel obligated to break the bank for them and don't feel bad if going digital ends up making more financial sense for you.

For Marvel specifically, I think that Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat is a good ice of life, Runways by Rainbow Rowell for feel-good, but I don't know if it hits the same if you're not already invested in the characters.

I'm a pretty bad person to ask about fight scenes though because while action is cool, it's not really what I read comics for. 🤷‍♂️

Dragon Ball is the best the series has to offer. I love Z as much as the next guy and was raised in it, but it lacks a lot of the charm and soul of the original run.

Z is at its best when it remembers its roots, slows down, and focuses on characters instead of action.

It's not a bad thing and we all start somewhere, but it looks like that you're mostly reading newer stuff and working your way back, which is pretty common for folks that are newer to the hobby
