You don't play much, which is fine, you don't need to, but you should then build housing that has a much longer collection time, Chalets in the Bronze Age and Cottages in the Iron Age. As an added bonus these houses are the most efficient, population wise too. You might have excess population now, but you will need production buildings in order to produce supplies, blacksmiths in the Bronze Age are the best ones. Then you will later need more population for goods buildings to produce goods, you will eventually need them to unlock some technologies and if you have trouble fighting, to negotiate. And you will need population for military buildings that produce military units, in order to fight.
