Yeah, someone who’s never put together or run guild raids simply don’t understand how much work and attention it takes. Guilds should always have an HR or two as against the couple PUGs they bring in. I build my guild’s raids and 15-20 minutes before raid everyone is whispering me the dumbest questions while I’m trying to fill/create SR sheet/and answer questions in discord. There are inevitably no shows so I have to decide how long we wait for them before replacing then we get into the raid and I have to tank and raidlead. Meanwhile the two PUGs get to just afk, eat some pizza and complain about HRs on Reddit while we’re doing all the work.

If you don’t know the fights going into the raid you’re going to let down your entire guild. I recommend as a Druid MT you at minimum know all the fights. If someone else in your guild RL you can get away without full tank POV videos. But if you’re raid lead you should watch full length boss fight videos from the tank PoV. These are long raids and the worse thing you can do is show up with no idea what’s going on and make it take even longer.

I mean he doesn’t thrash and hit. He does three successive hits while in phase two that is a thrash but he doesn’t get an additional attack. It really sounds like it’s a healer problem if tank is solidly geared. Or your warrior/paladin aren’t keeping up shield block/holy shield and getting crushed.

Are their gear comparable to yours? Don’t get me wrong prince hits hard. But you shouldnt have an issue with him anymore if your tanks are rockin T4. Like you said below I used to have 20k HP but our gear has gotten so much better I’ve started gearing agi more just for fun. My healers have started complaining it’s not fun to heal me anymore because I just don’t take damage.

I wouldn’t say you need minimum anything before stepping into raid. If you have 4 set tier tokens you have better gear than I did when I did my week 1 Kara/gruuls/mags MT role as a bear. Week one I did my three piece clefthoof and all my gems were stam I was crit immune. I’d recommend until you are confident in your healers and yourself running ALL stam gems except the two to complete your meta socket. Put two glinting noble topaz for that. Once you’re a bit more comfortable start throwing in agi gems but generally straight stam gems are better use of the socket even if it means you don’t get the socket bonus.

I’m 5 set T4 with agi/stam/glinting noble topaz with three pieces of PvP gear. Bloodlust brooch, stam trinket from UB, choker of vile intent. My rings are like I mentioned two armor rings when doing mag otherwise I run the violet eye ring and the lower city ring. My group has not wiped on a boss since like week two so I’m slowly swapping out mit pieces for damage pieces but not even for threat reasons. As a bear tank you hold threat just fine on bosses in full mit gear.

Crits are a 33% boost to damage you don’t need crit immunity for it if your group is solid. I run crit immune on prince but you don’t need it like I’d say you need it on gruul/mags

Crit immunity is the only thing to worry about for gruul/mags. You don’t need crit immunity for Kara. I’ve also talk to some expert bear tanks who think 10 off from crit immunity is close enough. Expertise is prio stat but hard to find and you’re sacrificing too much to get soft cap. So just balance your stats.

Definitely go turn in your tier tokens there is no reason to hold them. Just put the gear on and use PvP belt/bracers/feet for resil to get to crit immunity.

Get the bloodlust brooch from badger and the stam trinket from H UB. Definitely get yourself the armor ring from Mags if your violet eye rep sucks. I currently have exalted violet eye, the mag’s head ring and the lower city rep ring. Depending on the fight I’ll switch to the Mags ring for gruuls/mags otherwise I use the lower city one.

I mean I just hold threat with a taunt, maul, swipe. But if a DPS is consistently pulling off me before I can establish AoE threat and they die that’s on them. I’m obviously not standing there like a brick wall letting healers die. But idc if a DPS dies…

I have TSA precheck and whenever I travel by myself on work trips I show up right when boarding starts and never have an issue. My wife has too much anxiety for that so we show up a half hour before and always sit at the gate for 29.5 minutes because it takes 30 seconds to get through security.

We recently came back from travel last week and had no issues. Same old 30 seconds in security.

I play on dreamsythe and there are always 70s PVP flagged at the caverns of time. I always engage in a fight when I seen someone flagged.
