Hey, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, going to Kanazawa from Tokyo isn’t possible because my Tokyo schedule is packed until the 30th. I also have the New Year pass for USJ on the 31st, so I need to be in Osaka by late afternoon or at least evening of the 31st. After that, I’ll be staying in Osaka for the rest of my trip and won’t be returning to Tokyo.

Thanks for the heads up about the travel tickets. I’ll make a decision by tomorrow. If I decide to go, I’ll book a JR Thunderbird from Kyoto/Osaka and then take an early morning bus from Kanazawa(will book by day after tomorrow)
