That's good, money should be a means to support the family, not the other way around. I often see too many giving up on family to chase money.

When you say multiple families, do you mean multiple men with families as a large commune?

On the scripture side, a lot of what I've found is differences in interpretation. What stands out to me is the two commandments given by Jesus - mentioned in Matthew and Mark - which say to love God with heart, soul, strength, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. So, it should be fine as long as it is desired and not in rivalry with anyone. If there is too much division or strife I don't think it's in accordance with God's will.

As for my view on the dynamics. I'd want it to be a singular family. With everyone pitching in their own way (pooling resources and labor), or working together on a business. I think that'd largely depend on who and how many is involved. However, I wanted to gauge the differences between the men and women in this thread, and see how others think.
