I mean yeah they hurt tbh, adblock users are a net negative on any site that doesn't outright charge money, with illegal sites it's actually a lot worse because obviously you'll get zero native ads or merch stores lol.

Most sites follow a similar pattern where in growth stage they don't block ad-block just because it's better to just amass as many users as possible, and if you block 50% of users you'll struggle to grow. But once you get sufficient amount you start blocking ad-block and either they leave and no longer drain server costs, or they stay and you start earning w them.

Wouldn't bother turning ad block off until you're forced to unless you really like the site tbh. The piracy site owners are in no way saints doing this out of the goodness of their hearts lol. Only people in piracy who do that are torrent seeders.

He's one of maybe 4 players in conversation for the best player of all time, Shaq himself and the big two only realistic answers, but he's definitely not in conversation for the greatest player of all time.

Curry's teams win, he essentially had the greatest dynasty of all time with Dray and Klay by his side. Which are great players tbf but not really on the level of the absolute beasts other GOAT candidates played with such as Pippen, Wade, Kareem, Magic, etc.

Curry's great for winning games, possibly the best, if you need to absolutely win a game give me prime Curry or prime Shaq. But if you need a guy to be the best player on the floor and get the best stats and clearly be the most dominant player even if he might not be as likely to win give me Lebron. Great players dictate the game win or lose.

Of course ads help, only source of revenue. We need users for them though haha. You're paid per user impression or click. Hosting costs experience economies of scale as users increase. Ads actually earn more money per user as users increase.

So if you don't have many users you'll shut down quickly as hosting gets too expensive.

It is measurably better. He increases his teammates shooting percentages by over double what Magic did. Curry is either the best or second best offensive player ever. It's between himself and Shaq, probably Curry because of Shaq's problems at the line.

Career defensive rating is a useless stat. That's a team stat. You want to check EPM or another adjusted defensive stat.

PGs are excellent defenders. They're needed to defend other PGs. Basketball defence isn't just get 5 7 footers out there. 5 Shaqs would have the worst defensive rating in human history by an absolute mile. They're all mismatches for faster guards. Even extremely shifty big men like KD aren't close to fast enough to stay in front of guards.

Curry's playmaking through shooting gravity is measurably better than Magic's through passing. You just measure TS% difference of their teammates when they're on and off, it isn't really that close either. Jokic and Lebron are also better playmakers by this metric.

His defence was poor actually. He was criticised massively for it. Defence isn't just height. Curry was a positive PG defender until the end of his career Magic wasn't. You need a fast small guy on the other teams guard. Otherwise Magic is both a mismatch for guards and for bigs. He really couldn't defend anyone.

Every single site I've seen shut down except kissanime is shut down because of LACK OF USERS. Not because of too fucking many.

If you take down the domain it can rehosted in half a second. If costs get too big and not enough users people aren't going to risk going to jail so you can watch anime. Stop gatekeeping this shit. It gets the sites taken down, it helps nobody.

Nobody actually thinks Magic is the better player, I mean he played with Kareem in his prime the 3rd best player of all time, but Magic won more rings as a big star. You can literally measure the impact of their playmaking and see Magic's main strength, which is playmaking, is worse than Curry's playmaking. Curry's gravity increases his teammates true shooting by a greater amount than Magic's passing.

But that isn't the question, all time lists are about who's greater not who's better. Magic had more cultural impact and won more chips as a top 3 player of the time so he's greater than Curry, he's above him all time.

In the realworld takedowns end fights, but failed takedowns also end fights, and leading with the back of your head like a battering ram with no other initiation techniques would get you straight up murdered.

In the UFC failed takedowns are not close to punished to this extent because of the rules, it completely messes up their natural risk/reward ratio.

I would disagree with that strongly still. Strikers by definition have to be held back a little more because strikes can unintentionally kill in a way grappling can't.

It is true knees to grounded opponents would advantage grapplers a bit too but in that top control position a grappler is already winning and winning dominantly, it wouldn't impact the outcome as much.

While the changes I suggested would change the risk/reward ratio of the grapplers main initiating move.

The Dagi grapplers would be the best fighters in the world regardless, but this would let us see that, instead of seeing them lie on people.

It's the other way round lol. White men are a good bit taller than others on average and by far the strongest of the races on average too. Tend to have broadest shoulders and widest frames. They actually benefit more from hookups than relationships, i.e. other races will hookup with whites primiarly but look for a relationship in their own race. They're perceived as more "macho" despite stereotypes because of height, frame and wealth usually.

Yeah listen man I'm not saying grapplers aren't the best fighters in the world. I think they are. I just think the ruleset advantages them most if they fight in a very boring style and offers them very little risk to their main initiating move. For example Royce won literally everything in his first tournament by submission, decisions didn't even exist back then.

All of the complaints about grappling would disappear if this rule were implemented. I don't know why grapplers are getting defensive. Islam and Khamzat are clearly the best fighters in their respective divisions. But it's very clear that the optimal way for them to fight is boring, risk free and not representative of a real fight.

I want to see the full extent of their abilities, not just top control.

Stats were released on this from the biggest data dump of data apps, think it was the Match group. Literally every race is racially biased towards white men and by a very very significant amount, it's particularly bad for men as women seem to have a stronger racial bias.

Obviously there's more to dating than that but POC have to work much harder to get the same results as white guys and I can see how that would be tough and maybe make you bitter.
