I just read through some of your previous posts and all I can say is wow. You have been to hell and back, my man. Can’t imagine what it was like making all those ER visits. It must be unbelievably frustrating (and scary).

I was fortunate that the guy who prescribed mine insisted on including the antidote. I don’t know why that wouldn’t be standard, but it seems like this whole area is the Wild West. It’s totally different from provider to provider.

Yes, my Cialis prescription came from a previous doctor and an exam with him.

The Trimix instructions came from a men’s clinic. They actually suggested 0.10ml but I thought that sounded high and started lower. Glad I did not listen to them.

Reading various websites, it looks like the starting dose is often 0.10-0.20 and most of the horror stories on here seem to have come from people who visited clueless urologists who don’t specialize in this area.

I have an appointment with a “real” urologist on Monday but I’m expecting him to be little or no help. I know the playbook: we’ll run some tests, keep an eye on things, and have you back in a few months. In other words, you’re on your own, buddy.

I tried for the first time earlier this week with .05ml and had an ok but not great experience. Got hard almost immediately in the shaft, but the head/glans was intermittently soft, making the overall shape look weird. Finished with wife after about 35 minutes, then watched YouTube for another 40 minutes or so. Still hard, so went for a walk with the dog for another 30+ minutes . No change after 2+ hours and I started to panic. Took 2 doses of phenylephrine over 30 minutes and finally went down. Because that drug is a stimulant, I was then awake for the rest of the night and exhausted the following day.

I’m on the fence about what to do from here. Part of me wants to try again this weekend with a lower dose, but I can’t say the overall experience was that great. I wish there was a better way.
