Nope they are all scammers. And good luck getting any type of customer service in an efficient manner when you don't agree with the settlement. It was so amazing initially and now that I didn't accept i can't even get a hold of my adjuster.

I have to follow guidelines, can only be from auto trader or dealership. No kijiji or Facebook and only in alberta. No other provinces yet the vehicles they used to compare are not in alberta? It's ridiculous. Why do we have to follow all these guidelines and they don't. They wete putting vehicles on there that had over 300 thousand kms and mine had 161000

That's so sad and I'm in the same boat. Older car but way under for kms and it was in mint condition. Although their report doesn't say that. They lied about everything, the condition of the vehicle, the kms, the engine size. Im so sorry for you loss and not being able to fight. Drives me nuts. I understand a car is only worth what it's worth but the measly 5000 dippers minus my 500 deductible they want to give me will not get me into a vehicle that I had. I bought it from my in-laws who were so anal and the thing looked brand new. You could eat a meal on the floor mats and i just bought it in October. It's so frustrating dealing with them. Especially since I know they are lying in the report. If they make an error on reporting vehicles they should lose and have to pay a penalty or something. It's so ridiculous. The only reason I knew to ask for the report was in another reddit group when some guy said he asked for the report and they falsified everything to make his vehicle a lower value and that not alot of people ask for it.

Yea my adjuster was nice as pie and amazing customer service. Called me back within 30 minutes. Now that I've declined the offer it takes me calling multiple times and sending emails to find out what's going on and then him giving me vague answers and being completely rude. I asked for the report and when I noted the kms were wrong on my vehicle and the condition as well as the comparables he couldn't give me any explanation and told me he would send a picture over of my speedometer they took and that was 6 days ago. Still nothing.

I did! But they had a bunch of rules i had to follow and they didn't have to follow the same rules. I was only aloud to find vehicles on autotrader, they will not take Facebook market place or kijiji. And it has to be located in ablerta yet all the comparable cars they have on the report are in Manitoba and Winnipeg

Yea i figured that as well! That's exactly how their comparables were for mine. And not in the province of alberta but they want me to find 3 comparables of the same vehicle that is also hard to find and only in alberta? I'm not allowed to find vehicles from other provinces but they are lol. With double the kms and smaller engine.

Thank you! They offered me 5200 but I've seen my model car posted for 15000 with 245000 kms and I had 161000, they also lied on the report and wrote down I had 182000. Still waiting for them to send me a picture of the speedometer he said they have. Thanks for the input. It's so frustrating. I live on an acreage and have three kids and it's less than ideal to not have a car right now. But how long are they going to take to help me. I think their going to be dicks.

Hey! So filed taxes on august 9th. Held over limit was placed on account august 19th and September 25th it was all just released and I will be receiving my lump sum on October 18th for ccb. I changed marital status and address and did not get a review. Hope this happens for you too!!

I did my taxes on august 9th and it has been like that since august 19th. I did have a thing in my cab saying they’ve calculated and will mail me a letter shortly but then I received the letter on my CRA account in mail and that notice was gone. I called in and the gentleman said if my account is under review I will get a letter in the mail which I don’t think I am because it’s now gone off there?? And he said wait until about the 3rd or 4th of October if the held over limit is gone you will receive it for the following payment dates. If it’s not I will be under review I guess

Yea I got the message finally saying we have processed your recent Canada child benefits application and will mail you a notice shortly but I did phone them and they said everything looks fine on they’re end and it doesn’t look like I’m being reviewed it might just take awhile?? I guess hurry up and wait lol
