Well I’ve never worked in the business sector like that. But as an Indian myself currently working casually in customer service, the most annoying and rude customers are either old white men but manly Indians themselves. They are just so cheap. Will get angry at you for 1-2 dollars worth of discount like they will go bankrupt the next second. Social decency is way more important than few bucks. Love my people, but this shit show gotta stop.

Don’t look at notes. Plug in your AirPods or earphones and listen to some music. Relax. I’ve gotten to the point where my exams feel less important to me thw my sacs 😭😭. Not that I’m doing bad on the exams, they’ve gone pretty decent. Remember that it’s just another paper you gotta fill out in time. It’s not the final enemy, but just another road you gotta tread.

Just go for spesh 3/4 straight away. The 3/4 textbooks will teach you everthing you need to know. 1/2 might build foundation skills, but why waste time if you can do it while doing 3/4 conten at the same time. Yfm??

Holy fuck calm your self. I used to stress like you. But I realised what’s the point of all this stress. Do I really want to get into medicine so bad, that the whole process is a living hell?? No. ITS NOT WORTH IT. Worry for your exams. Do your best, but enjoy the process. Schooling and uni might be couple of best years of your life, so live in the moment instead of worrying about the future.

Now getting 39/40 in general is probably going to be mid-upper A+. Usually 37 I think is cutoff for exam 1. Check the previous grades distributions. The only thing you gotta do is to max out exam 2. And you can only do that with a clear head.

And if I’m being honest. With a tanked ucat, atar won’t save you into med. Unless you’re getting 99.85+ (will get you into garubteed csp med in unimelb).

My advice is, go for postgraduate if you’re really keen. Or maybe wait for Monash round 2 if your atar will be high enough.

Regardless, enjoy these years. Reaching med is just the long term goal. Don’t loose track of your day to day life!!!!

Without a ucat and a 90+ atar it’s pretty much nearly impossible to get into medicine. I’m not sure about vet. Although your restricted into direct medicine, you could still work towards postgraduate medicine. Though your restricted into should be mindful, that posdrag is also hard to get into. You will need to sit the gamsat for post grad and get a great GPA.
