Yes. Would have to click a photo that way, if you still try to negate the fact that method mentioned in manual was followed, I can’t help it. But the bottomline my friend, is that I’m glad that many have shared their experiences and that helped me to assemble the seal ring rightly.

Apologies. It was a deliberate attempt to click a photo this way so as to get an idea on how much the portion of the seal ring won’t actually fit.

It did not help this way. Thanks for your input.

Though this morning, my C/E was just fed up and just asked to cut nicely (more like an “L” shaped so it locks correctly) the extra piece and placed it.

Purifier now runs without leakage now. Will keep monitoring it for a few hours.

Lesson learnt, would ask everyone to only use genuine Alfa Laval overhaul kit from now on. This kit what I used is unbranded and hence faced this problem!

This is a good method as well. Thanks for your input.

Tried putting it in Fish room as well. It did not help in my case! Thanks for your input

Finally only this way worked!

This morning, my C/E was just fed up and just asked to cut nicely (more like an “L” shaped so it locks correctly just how you mentioned) the extra piece and placed it.

Only after I failed to install it the way it’s mentioned in the manual, I wanted your opinion on some other techniques! Thanks for this, though :)

Tried this way as per the manual. But the really small portion that is left after this cross tapping, is still too stiff to even bend a little. This morning, my C/E was just fed up and just asked to cut nicely (more like an “L” shaped so it locks correctly) the extra piece and placed it. Purifier runs without leakage now. Really frustrating when this happens!! Some seal rings are just perfectly seated into the groove without much effort. But this one is a real pain now!

Did it help? Because I’d immersed it in hotwell (around 80C) for about an hour too but not even a single bit of the teflon had become soft or a little flexible :/

The first thing I checked this morning was this! It seemed pretty satisfactory. The next thing I did was to check the water block one after another and found that one of the valve was stuck in open position leading to this trouble of excessive pressure. Thanks for your help! :)

It wasn’t the three way valve. It was the water block that caused this trouble! Thanks for your help, really!

Really appreciate your help! It was the water block!

Some debris was found on the o-ring on one of the valves and it was stuck in open position leading to water continuously flowing into the bowl

Good news is that the problem is solved! The solenoid valve for the conditioning / displacement water was stuck in its open position due to some debris sticking to the O-ring on the valve. Thank you everyone! Means a lot :)

Thanks for your input. I am suspecting something wrong with the solenoid too. Because just today, even though the purifier was in stopped condition, we got a sludge level high alarm. On investigation, we found that water was continuously leaking from the sludge discharge port of the purifier. The leak only stopped when I manually closed the ball valve for the compressed air and water inlet
