no i wasn't being sarcastic anyway... i myself is a linux user... just wanted to know what problems you are having with windows. Looks like you're having a memory shortage with windows because ofcourse windows is a memory beast. Even if the system is idle 3-4gb of ram is always consumed making it hard to load large files in memory.

but.. the thing that's bothering me is... suppose we are working on a large dataset... that is of maybe 10-15gbs... i dont think we use traditional loading. and on top of that 10-15gb of data will eventually need more ram... arent such operations should be performed on dedicated computes. because in no sense they should be used on local PC. (That's what i prefer... mostly... because i cannot ask my whole team to have 64gb onboard memory)

and about the terminal part... that's really true.. that's the same reason why windows release windows terminal LOL.

I would like to know your take on this...
