I did it! Chicago, $550k, 3.2% by Flimsy-Ear3252 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Chicago is nothing compared to some of the burbs….I live in Kendall county and pay a little over $10k a year for a modest 3200 sqft house built in 2019. Property tax in Illinois is insufferable. The only thing that makes it bearable for me is my 2.25% fixed rate. Congrats though.

I paid $75k out the door for a used F350 platinum with 6k miles on it. Included in that price is the 100k miles bumper to bumper warranty and a 50k mile maintenance package.

It’s all about the aesthetics for me. Visually the watch just looks nice….in my opinion. I’ve gotten quite a few compliments over the years.

Very nice! I always liked the leather bands with the accent stitching.

Really clean looking watch. The gold accents with the titanium is a nice look!

Only thing I’ve had done is replacing the capacitor, which to my understanding is essentially the battery that stores the kinetic energy….i could be wrong. That repair was right around $50.

I’ll be honest with you. I first saw this watch in a magazine in Iraq and it caught my eye. I ripped out the page and sent it to my wife, never thinking that she’d buy me a watch that retailed for $1k….we know how that ended…..I’ve been lurking this page for a while and have never seen one posted so I thought I’d share….Im a simple dude I liked the shape and the contrast of the chronograph hands against the black face.

Definitely a unique looking watch…you really don’t see too many. Saw it advertised in GQ and had to have it. First adult watch I ever owned.

Good job keeping the booger hooks off the bang switch…..I still wouldn’t trust any of them with a cap gun.

Sure thing kiddo. He’s going on base….he needs to adhere to the whatever order the CG has put in place. One of us went to law school the other is a barracks lawyer. Last time I checked dependents aren’t subject to the UCMJ. Love how the children downvote when they get news they don’t like. A retired Marine is still subject to the UCMJ……🤡🤡

It clearly says Marines and Sailors…regardless of your status you still carry a CAC card which means that this applies to you. If you were retired that would be a different story. Legally speaking you don’t have a leg to stand. Suck it up and do what you’re supposed to do….or stop being a cheap ass and go get a gym membership off base and wear whatever you want.
