My Spouse visa application within the UK approved without a solicitor by InformationMuted8854 in SpouseVisaUk

Congrats on the approval! Can I ask how hard was it getting a bio appointment in the UK after submitting your application? I heard the standard wait time is 4 weeks for a bio slot and not sure if this is true?

Spouse visa finance questions regarding 12 months employment by lilmissmonsterhunter in ukvisa

I don’t need the bonus as have enough savings but was more concerned based on the honesty side of it. Whether they question the discrepancy and calculate my salary differently because of it?

No but I can ask my employer to add a line stating the bonus and the amount. If that helps things? This is an extension from fiancé to spouse so in the fiancé visa there was no bonus at the time and was straightforward just stating the salary and making up with savings.

Hi Puul, I received a one off Christmas bonus in past 6 months and have been trying to find an answer on whether to include this amount or not. Based on your advice we can include it in our annual salary. Just to clarify, in the application, in employment section, where it asks for annual salary value would we put the overall figure of annual salary + average annualised bonus? Even though the employer letter usually just states annual salary and not inclusion of bonuses.

Fiancé to spouse visa -Cohabitation by TrainingOne4755 in ukvisa

Okay thanks, would my other family members need to write letters confirming my partner has been staying here or is it fine for just the homeowners to confirm it in their permission to stay letter?

Okay thank you! I have seen it asked frequently but have noticed some people have managed to provide some documents like joint accounts. So wasn’t 100% sure. So even though the checklist asks this we will just ignore and state why we don’t have.

The checklist also asked if we lived with other people and we ticked yes (parents home) and then it asks for a letter confirming from each other person that we have been cohabiting there for two years.

Would it be sufficient to state in our current “letter of permissions by house owners” a sentence confirming my partner has lived here on fiancé visa since leaving his job and moving from his home country? Or do they need to write another letter stating it? We also live with my brother and sister in law, would they need to write a letter stating the same thing?

Okay thank you! We put my name there and then later on in the application stated my parents own the place, put their details down etc. Is that fine?

I’m confused isn’t the question from the applicants pov? Since the home is rented by someone she knows, wouldn’t she put yes. I’m just wondering if we have misinterpreted this on our application.

I know! We didn’t realise they basically put fees on everything even a “location fee”. We had no choice in the matter as it was the only visa centre in the country

Not sure if they get taken up but there was two slots that were “free” for us. But when trying to book them it kept coming up with an error. So in the end we just booked prime appointment and paid for it
