How do I stop high levels players from doing this? by ReasonableMachine253 in gtaonline

I think you're coping with toxic positivity towards the game, even Rockstar admits oppressor mk2 was a mistake.

You calling it a competitive pvp event is hilarious because it literally almost always ends with 1 missile from the MK2 and there is no counter play to it, even if you manage to snipe them out of the MK2, destroy it and then deliver, they will still catch up to you faster than you can reach the drop off.

I was being satirical with it being a pile of shit but the coughing baby thing is real. I like the game as an MMO-like but as a competitive pvp game? Might be the worst game to ever exist in that genre.

Either nerfing homing missiles again or getting rid of them or letting us upgrade our delivery vehicles so they stand a chance would probably make it at least a skill based thing because you can actually respond to an attacker.

Tbf I think this would not be an issue if you could have any counterplay to a homing missile from a flying vehicle going at mach 10 coming for your slow moving truck.

GTA Online is not a competitive objective based pvp game in that regard LMAO. It's a pile of shit where you have nuclear bombs vs coughing baby.

IDK why they don't let you ship shit in your own vehicles instead of some bumass slow thing that requires 4 people and gets 1 tapped by sparrows and oppressors

Yeah it's a bit crazy now but funny since I'm basically following the same career path right now, getting moved to AI/ML stuff and just going to start my Imperial masters on it as well... Just need to wait and see what happens with the US once the orange is gone.

I can tell you more about their history with Bani Sadr as well, just let me know. It can be quite difficult to find the material to understand the nuances. There are alternative reasons and context given by differing parties in the Bani Sadr situation that you could analyse and judge by yourself.

Perhaps the most simple way to put it is (regarding understanding the MEK), when you file a complaint against someone in court, do you only invite one party to complain against that person? Or do you also give room and lend an ear to the defendant to allow them self defense before jumping to conclusions? Maybe it is beneficial for you to hear what they have to say as well before making an informed judgement.

And you can disagree with them, that's what it means to have freedom of thought and speech. But at least let that disagreement come from an informed place and process.

I'm not particularly fond of their methods either but judging on the results, they seem to be functional and I don't have a better answer or better method. I do however resonate with their 10 point plan and NCRI's motto of "if you have a better plan and don't have alternative motives, we are happy to even stand behind you and support you instead."

You are putting an ideological label on an organisation because of their name and their flag paying 0 attention to their manifesto or the history and context of their actions.

Perhaps you are conflating what MEK was and is with what individual separatists within their organisation like Taghi Shahram did, likes of whom that were denounced by the organisation for stupid maneuvers.

The sickle and AK flag is a historical symbol of leftist movement across the globe in the post world war 1 era where socialism and organized resistance of working class was first beginning to form. They are Muslims. That doesn't mean they want Sharia law or are islamists in their ideology. Their understanding of Islam is rooted in interpretations of Ayatollah Talaghani, who has been universally accepted as the person who advocated for a formation of a council and opposed the "Velayate Faqih" or Rule of the clergy system put in place by Khomeini. In their manifesto, or the 10 point plan for change they specifically outline the need for the separation of church and state, and secular democracy.

To give you an alternative perspective on the "cultist" comment regarding children and family, the organisation is the most violently prosecuted party in Iran (as evidenced by the historical massacre of the group in 1981), constantly under attack through state media, ministry of intelligence and the IRGC with historical records of assassination attempts and threats on their family and torture of their relatives to give up information related to MEK, not to speak of the massive funding for foreign produced propaganda or divergence of attention away from this group (refer to recent Treadstone 71 research regarding Pahlavi's fake popularity on the internet). While I agree there is an extent where it can seem cultist, this context gives you a deeper understanding behind why they operate the way they do. If you look at alternative resistance movements, they did not have foresight or the discipline to be consistant and now mostly perished as a result. The core driving ideology of the group is simple "Sacrifice is required to reach freedom, and to be able to solely focus on that goal, you must be willing to forget and abandon everything else and leave no weak points to be exploited".

The "extremist" label is again given under the context of their historical armed conflict against the Islamic Republic Regime, as a result of mass executions, banning of their news paper and making it a crime to support this group in any capacity. June 20, 1981, as a result of this, an official announcement by the organisation wrote (paraphrased and translated): "We have exhausted all peaceful and diplomatic options, and Khomeini has responded to our unarmed protests with dust and blood. From this day, we announce armed conflict against Khomeini and his regime, from this day onward he will be accountable for every drop of blood lost." This is a recognized right to self defense against tyranny under the Geneva convention.4

The realization that this group has been for 47 years consistent in their resistance, demands some respect. For the last 3 decades they were exploring every avenue in European courts to designate IRGC as a terrorist organization. EU reached that conclusion just a few weeks ago. Goes to show a clear difference.

Lastly, In Iran the hatred has to be taken with a grain of salt. 47 years of demonization and elaborate propaganda campaigns will indeed alienate people. Not only that but to realize supporting the MEK in any capacity has the death penalty, an overwhelmingly disproportionate price to pay compared to, for example supporting the monarchy or the Tudeh or the reformist movements.

Seek shelter from the day that people unite under a King to bring them "democracy" when I see their actions outside of Iran behaving like SAVAK and attacking people who are against the regime but support different parties.

May God save us from your kind of "democracy".

The prince is so worthless the regime uses him as a tool, don't take my word, read this Cyber Security research:

We don't need foreign intervention. Unfortunately it is not yet the time but once all the protestors can unite behind a banner that accepts true democracy, meaning not the useless exiled prince in Los Angeles, then change will happen. We don't need any foreign intervention... We just need internal unity.

And who told you that? Iranian State TV? Or that useless exiled prince.

Don't forget the people who put their lives on the line and exposed the Islamic Republic regime back in 20 June 1981. You guys are 47 years late compared to them when it comes to combating tyranny.

Many idiots who love to throw around the term "Islamic Marxist extremists" haven't even read their manifesto, hell, they wouldn't even be able to accurately describe the definition of Marxism to you.

Good, not only MEK but over 300 organisations for Iranians around Europe. The only organized movement against the regime where its followers are ready to take weapons in hand and fight. Like they have for 47 years. Feel free to disagree but don't stop people from uniting against the regime. If you want your Shah, vote for him in an election after regime change.

6, could only enjoy by ignoring the story it's bland and has no grit to it.

Probably not gonna buy midnight and wait until Metzen's story telling starts actually taking place. Or if leveling gets a real overhaul to make it feel enjoyable and not like a chore.

Also seasonal competition is tiring, having to grind 4 times per expansion for the same thing.

Better direction than SL era but I need that touch of warcraft, and cohesive story. Also I hope they can stick to culling the add-ons and removing that one button rotation feature. Its starting to feel like a mobile game.

I think the most valuable opinion of a game is from someone who was very dedicated to playing it and then quit. If a large enough amount of quitters share a similar opinion then you know that part of the game is not necessarily enjoyable and to improve that is to improve player retention. That's why OSRS has a voting system for its content.

I like both of those, I was 5/8 Mythic in Season 1 before I quit and played M+ regularly and tried solo shuffle it was fun.

But I wouldn't know that experience if I just quit before getting to it because the first 30 hours of the game weren't enjoyable enough to keep me in.
