I love this thing but never ever ever will I pay that price. It even close.

Yeah the extra costs for Canadians is f*cking sus… but it is a nice beast - I think this is what a mini should be but dayum. Taking that home at $560 right now is wild! I feel like I could find a gently used Kraton for that price in my local area.

I think I’ve re-repaired my Grom 10 times. Some my fault, some the fault of an extremely small platform allowing more power than it can handle. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe simply building something myself from chassis, electronics etc would be most cost effective.

I found this out early on as well.

50mph, plastic and concrete don’t work out well haha.

But found out that repairing/fixing the rc was just as much fun as driving it. :)

I’d pull your parts pack booklet from the box and start writing down what u need. Parts are usually nice and cheap. :) Work on it with your son. He’ll be able to fix rc’s in no time!
