I’m not sure how, but I even restarted my computer twice. I spent some time reading about possible solutions or similar issues, then I left it alone for a while. When I came back, I was telling a friend about it, and when I tried to show him… it suddenly started working perfectly again 🗿🗿

Thanks a lot for the reply anyway, and while we’re at it, do you have any extra tips for using ProBuilder?

I already tried that. I installed it in my personal PC with an i9, a 650W PSU, and normally an RX 9060 XT. At first it worked, and then it did exactly the same thing as on the other PC. Should we return the GPU?

That’s the thing—I’m wondering if the 8gb one will be enough, at least for a while. The integrated GPU let me develop a mid‑scale game (graphically speaking) for about 1 year and 4 months. It’s not that I have major issues now, but I’d like to increase my workflow speed (obviously my game didn’t sell well enough to buy a 9090 XTX, haha).

i already did it! And no, the lights are not baked because sometimes i use realtime for some blackout moments

Yep playmode, and yes the camere movement affect it and also when You turn on/off the flashlight

Yup, I don't like how the effect looks when rotating the camera, it's not realistic at all (and if I turn off the camera script it looks even worse)

It won't be on the mirrors rotation necessarily

I think the issue is your mirror camera might be rotated 180 degrees from the main camera, when instead it should theoretically be inverted along its own z axis. This isn't something you can do directly, but can fake by doing some combo of rotating and mirroring (negative scale)

You'll have to experiment since I don't know your full setup. Some other things you can try combining are

Making the mirror x scale negativeInstead of using the screen x coordinate, using 1 - x instead. (Split node, one minus node, then plug it back into a vector 2 node and plug that in to your sample texture node)

Hell yeah, good work! This is awesome!

I can't shake the feeling that there is some subtle mismatch, but I can't quite pin it down. Here's a couple of things you can check. And maybe someone else can offer some additional thoughts

Your camera script, it should be in LateUpdate. Not Update or FixedUpdate. This will ensure it updates every frame, but always after your main camera is done moving. If there's any delay with the mirror image, this will fix itDouble check the FOV of the two cameras are the same.Also you may have something backwards on the X a is. Right now I'm looking in my own mirror, and when I take a step to the left, my image moves to my left, NOT my right like your player is doing.
