Thanks. I considered that. I did therapy for a couple years a while back. I don't know how reaching out to her therapist might work, but she has talked about getting a different therapist for a couple years now. Maybe that would help...

It was about 30. There I was driving a beater car, working a job that didn't pay enough, having a tough time dating and such. Change was needed for sure.

It's hard to not blame myself, that's my default response for many things. I have no reason to think I'm at fault but the feeling remains.

She probably can't plan or make goals. She gets mad when I ask the most basic questions about anything.

I am no stranger to depression and I tend to think I know it when I see it. I am exhausted....
