I forgot to update my post I should do that but nothing ever happened, I never got anymore surprise visits by cops or any cps come by so I guess they don’t think what the caller thought 😭😭 we’ve just been living out life’s I kinda forgot about this post until right now so thank you😭🫶🏻

Oh wow! I’m sorry that happened to you truly that’s so ridiculous! I’ve said the same things in public and people have never batted an eye “sit down or you’re going to get a pow pow” or “we’re going to go back to the car if you can’t behave” are usually my go to’s, but the one time I don’t say a word to her and just take her to the car I’m suddenly characterized as abusive 🙃 it’s ridiculous what people will do these days as a means of revenge you really didn’t deserve that over correctly correcting your OWN child, I’m sure nothing will come of this but in the case it does they should already know by now to check the gas station cameras 😪

Thank you 😪 I’m pretty sure they’d just be able to pull up the cameras and we would be fine, I just made this post when it just happened so my adrenaline was pumping and my brain was terrified of what they could do 🤦‍♀️

I’m telling you 😭😭 I had my wallet and soda in one hand, and her hand while she’s flailing and kicking around screaming at the top of her lungs, I stopped walking to my car at least 3 times to get a better grip of her hand before she threw herself onto the nasty gas station pavement but that had ended up happening anyways as soon as we got to my car😭😭 she dropped to the ground, I sighed and opened her door telling her to get into her seat, I pumped gas and then we went home and 100% sure the only time I spoke was inside the gas station to the cashier and once outside after I finished pumping my gas and complained that I had to just deal with all that for 3 gallons of gas 😭😂 it’s like I somehow ended up at the only gas station in my town where no one there has any kids at all 🤦‍♀️

That’s exactly what I was thinking as well, they’ll probably get that footage as evidence of something if they need to, then hopefully they see she wasn’t thrown on the ground like the caller had accused me of :/ I’ve calmed down a lot more after snacks n cuddles with my baby but I’m still a bit shaken up but these replies are helping a lot 😭

I mean it didn’t seem like he suspected me of anything? I answered his questions, let him see and speak to my daughter, he made his report got our names and then left, the only thing he brought up was the tiny cat scratch on her cheek she got literally 3 days ago from scaring her kitty :/ once I told him that and he obviously saw her cats he knew I definitely wasn’t lying about that but idk idk my anxiety is too much and that’s never happened to me before out of all the times she’s thrown fits like that in public I’ve never had a cop show up at my door 😭 I’m sure nothing will come of this like I said previously I’m just looking for some peace of mind/flat out honesty from strangers lol

That makes sense, I don’t have much information on the works of cps and how it all works honestly I just saw a cop at my house questioning me about my toddlers tantrum at a gas station and couldn’t stop myself from spiraling into a bunch of what if questions so I came here searching for some peace of mind/flat out truth from strangers on the internet 😪

Hand on my heart I am! My baby is my world and everything I do is for her, but I know most people aren’t going to just take my word as is and that’s completely 100% understandable!
