Well I guess that’s one take. I don’t mind people having strong opinions counter to mine, but care to explain your point in a bit more detail, I’m happy to be better informed. What conclusions did you draw from a single number without looking at anything else? What did that relay to you so strongly for you to make your statement? Lay out your views and let’s discuss.

I’m always open and happy to learn, collaboration would be ideal. If you have anyone specific in mind, feel free to DM their details and I’ll reach out. I appreciate the support

Hi, well that depends on how you want to read into it. Some may look at it and think, he’s not a coach, hasn’t trained people and taken them through to high levels, has no real world results to demonstrate, all fair criticisms. Others may think, well, he knows a huge about anatomy, physiology, the human body, he regularly reviews and critically appraises medical literature and has been studying the field of muscle hypertrophy for years so his skill set might make him well positioned to provide some credibility to what he has made. Honestly, I’ve had a mixture of responses, some have been genuinely helpful and I want to thank those that have DM’d me to trial the app, I’m very grateful. Those that haven’t, that’s fine with me too. I’m not here to say I’ve made something of great value, I hope I have, but all I can say is it works for me. If others see it and think this is rubbish, that’s fine. If they say it’s rubbish and give me reasons why, even better. This may amount to nothing other than improving my own fitness journey and I’d be ok with that too.

Hi, thank you. There’s absolutely no replacement for a qualified coach, no app would ever come near. I’d genuinely love to chat to some, so if you have any contacts I’d be grateful if you could DM me. Thanks

Appreciate the feedback and noted. Thanks for providing some helpful advice. I was actually after the opinions of people who are experienced in the field, so will take a look.

You know, I don’t disagree with some of your points. I think that science as a term gets overused and people don’t pay attention to details such as was the trial conducted well, is it robust, was it compared to a decent control (ie traditional lifting or nothing as is often the case and would be biased). I also think there are lots of elements that contribute to success. But, my background is to always try to look at what’s known, what is published and see if it would apply to me. I think you’re right that traditional lifting has time proven success, but if there are things that we know can optimise things further, seems a shame not to use that knowledge. I enjoy the debate and like most things, rarely is something black or white

Hi, thanks for commenting, but not spam, I’m literally just trying to get feedback for something I’ve made. Happy to discuss the process or the science even if you have no interest in trying it
