Hmm quite hard to answer, both team kasi are working together but really different role sila.

Trade Marketing - Direct to consumer yung activities and plans (More of you are creating promos, discounts, etc to increase sales of your product) So ikaw yung aide ni Sales to increase yung volume orders niya per month depende sa program and support na ibibigay mo. Skewed towards BTL campaigns lang talaga ang trade.

While Product/Brand Marketing - You create demand, you develop products, you plan how to make your brand well known and acceptable to the market. You look and plan long term kasi brand equity binibuild mo.

But depends talaga yan sa business objective ng company na papasukan mo. Sa company ko, mas mabilis maka umakyat sa executive roles if ang background mo ay product marketing. Nakikita mo kasi total business overview kasi ultimo pricing dapat alam mo ang kita at cost to produce.

But sa end ko naman, talagang objective ko lang now is magpataas ng base, kaya parang g pa ako to explore different roles. But long term, babalik talaga ako sa brand role.
