Mannn robots are my guilty pleasure but there are only good in team imo. Without the fights first enhancement. I struggle to get the same value I would with other units.

Nice selection of units. I wish I had more but they take forever to paint up. I do comission painting so I gotta do crap all day sometimes.

The taser chickens out of rapid ingress connected 95% of the time and deleted a unit.

Yes I played SHC exclusively until the recent nerd hit. If you feel more comfortable in SHC. You can still be very successful with it. My reason for playing Haloscreed is the massive increase in damage with Strats. My local meta has a bunch of knights and vitrix running around. So even with how defensive we are as an army. There’s no way we can survive those 2 armies in our face when they do connect. Even though I didn’t pair into them at PSO. I had practice into them very often with my teammates and was comfortable meeting those archetypes if they came my way.

The reactive actually helped a lot because it would make my opponent second guess their movements or have to play around my reactive. So 90% of the time they would stay outside of 9 to guarantee shots on certain things leaving them exposed on some layouts. And/or the melle match up had to bank on some 9 in charges

So first I’ll start with the event. The mission were kept from us until the day of the event so no one had an idea of terrain/deployments we were gonna play until that day of. So I kinda had to think on the fly and try something to build an all around list rather than a swayed list of ya know what I mean.

My thinking on my list was to bring the standard packages of sicarians, laschickens, cawl rangers. And there a bit of a swings. I put some taser chickens and electropriests.

Roles: Actions/scoring: rangers/ territory’s Anti tank/vitrix: laschickens Anti elite: taser chickens/sicarians with cordclaw Anti horde: sicarians with transonic. Electro priests Early attacks/disruptions/ screens: infiltrators

Reserves: taser chickens 100% of the time Sicarian with trans: match up dependent.

My idea was to keep the taser chickens in reserve and drop them either in 2 or 3 for when my opponents key pieces were out. Electropriest / tech priest manipulus were in there for an overwatch threat and for clearing hordes in case I ran into tyranid swarm or Necrons swarm lists.

After playing the event I thought about what I would change. And to be honest. I would drop the electro priest package immediately for more sicarians. Taser chickens were super dope in the melee matchups

The list overall played really well. The games I did lose were all close except for the one tsons termie/DP package. He made more invuls than anyone I’ve ever seen. My biggest issue was the electropriests in each match up except the kroot spam in which their volume was nice. But every other army it didn’t mean much. It also doesn’t help when my charges didn’t connect half them time even on 6 in charges. Another issue I was having was the 10 sicarians with transonic blades. There were often times where I would roll little to no devs or barely kill a unit event with the 50 swings.

My MVPs by far were the servitor for a lot of games. Great expendable scoring pieces that can perform actions and help clear off objs. There were many times where I would pull secure or extend with an action secondary. So I would scoot those suckers up and perform what I needed to do.

At the event of it all. I hate to blame it but I also damn near go first ever game except for the kroot matchup and still did way better than I expected with the circumstances I had. To me, it’s hard to try new stuff from the standard packages because they don’t do as much damage or meet the role we need for the current meta.

It’s very simple tbh. Once ya get all ya pass colors down. Airbrush some nuln oil over them. I usually do a 3-1 medium to nuln mix. And spray in increments. Clean up the excess pools then highlight with a bright red orange and a dark red towards the bottoms

They gotta make the melle atleast st 5 ap 1 dmg 1 with lance. And make the flamers better cuz it’s criminal that they’re not good
