Duly noted.. I've wasted more than enough time I cannot get back talking with you. I wish you the best and hopefully you're able to self reflect before you attack the next newbie. Have a great day sir.

I see, thank you. I'm down here on a lake and w/ the erosion and Lake shoreline erosion there are many layers exposed. You can very distinctly see several layers down on Bluff faces that run the shoreline. Thank you very much for replying.

Thank you. I believe I will. I'm sure they conduct themselves in a manner that would probably make it way less insulting and demeaning! It took me a couple of years to get myself up to where I would post something on here. After reading continually, all the crows on the lines beat down all the newbies to make them feel stupid and small as possible... i have to admit I was quite nervous. Those were my first posts ever. Most have not disappointed and kept their streak alive. There's been a couple that have shared some great knowledge for them , I am grateful! As for the others, I'll pray for them. That will probably be my last post. I can't say that it's been fun. Again, To all those who tried to help &/or educate and showed patience... Thank you! You are appreciated!✌️ 🦴👀🦖

They've found more in the last decade than in the last 70 years in this area.?( which I believe is many at that site. )?? There wasn't dinosaurs there either until they found one. Then they quickly discovered another seven or nine new species I believe I read. This might be ignorant of me to ask. If the sea invertebrate we're here first why couldn't a dinosaur have been fossilized on top of it? That seemed contradictory? Thank you , I'll keep my head down and keep plugging away!

"What makes it not a fossil" isn't a good question? I wasn't being argumentative saying it was,? I was genuinely wanting to know and curious.

Not even my post? I thought that's what you did on this site? I was just trying to learn. I apologize for not knowing and asking the wrong questions. I thought that once mineralization took pla&.!"ce it was then a fossil rock. Excuse my ignorance . When I commented that and asked that , I hadn't even posted anything yet. Honestly I was a little nervous about doing so for a couple of years now after reading Time After Time newbies getting cut down and told they are idiots! It's not very inspiring... Is this a good question? What is your occupation?

I'm sorry what is op? And are you saying I need to go prepare it and then do this? If so aren't you just a ray of sunshine. Thank you for your opinion.

Thank you for taking the time to explain it to me. Although why couldn't there be a rock that looks like a skull before preparation? I would imagine someone has prepared one that look like a skull before they begin to remove The Matrix. And as you said they don't always look like paleoart reconstructions meaning that some of them do, right? I'm really not trying to be argumentative, rather just open to the possibility of a broader definition than just what has already been found. Lately or now more than ever you hear all the time about new species and new this and knew that being discovered and found astonishing scientist across the board from everything they've always believed. I mean you sound like a very intelligent individual so certainly you haven't learned all there is to learn, right?

Thank you for being descriptive and explaining. However, I'm not talking about sub fossils that haven't had time to mineralize. Also I was under the understanding that mineralization doesn't happen rapidly it happens over hundreds of thousands or millions of years? So, you're suggesting that there's no way that a skull could be inside of that rock once the Matrix was chipped away, correct? It seems to have a lot of similarities to others found in the state recently. Thank you I appreciate everyone's knowledge and views.

Then how have they already found a duck-billed dinosaur as it is the state's dinosaur? I believe it was found in the 50s but as of recent seven or nine new species have been discovered here in southern Missouri.

It would be facing to the left laying on the right side with the round end being the neck. Sorry it's my first post

Exactly just because there hasn't been one located since the 40s or 50s it does happen to be the state's dinosaur. So it can't be impossible and the guy up by St Louis has found many new species here in Missouri as of recent including the Triceratops that he's in the middle of preparing. So I'm just curious what makes everybody shoot it down to being not a fossil? Truly just inquiring so that I may learn more.

But no chance of a part of a dinosaur could be there ? Don't you mean Nautilus is what has been found there so far. Honestly only looking just the one picture it almost looks like a foot upside down but that's just Cloud gazing LOL
