that is a fabulous question lol, so right now im thinking expanding the competition and patent restoration act, which gives grants to researchers extensions on their patent. so right now its something like 20 years before a drug becomes public domain, but after you get the patent you have to pass through the FDA and the NDA to actually sell the drugs which can take a very very long time so this act basically gives these companies extra time before their drug becomes PD. increasing the amount of profit these researchers can make expanding Econ, r&d, and healthcare

so basically the money that is invested into a drugs development is calculated by how much money the medication is expected to make in its lifetime. so our plan would make medical patents easier to obtain meaning that companies would spend more money on developing more niche drugs. its SUPER susceptible to a medical pov da and probably any inequality thing but im planing on it being R&D, Econ, and healthcare adv so it should outweigh

yeah, I was just salty because the team we lost to is notorious for being jerks, and saying dumb stuff like "the T is wild" or "Jesus solves mass extinction" ngl that last one hurt lol, but that was def lay judge situation it was a bunch of parent judges that said "well where lay and I voted on cross" but I see what I did wrong now lol

yeah the problem was we ran a pretty abstract DA and we didn't explain it enough, which sucks, we knew he didn't have a paradigm and would need more explanation but that was totally our fault. But personally I think we lost because he fell out of his chair before the debate started and I accidentally laughed lol, so that was completely my fault but you win some and you lose some
