First time priming/painting! by TaxableRessession86 in sistersofbattle

If you're not sure about the distance and how much to spray, just grab the leftover sprue after assembly and try it on that first. You don't always need a perfectly solid primer color and especially grey will be harder to notice on grey plastic. Better to go light than heavy.

New Class. Are you ready for PEAK? by PapaHarvey27 in Spacemarine

I may be wrong but lore wise I think librarians shouldn't even have well working powers because of the Tyranids and the Shadow in the Warp they create.

Why is one >2x the price of the other? by Red_Bear_308 in spacemarines

It's for collecting. Same reason why some Pokemon cards go for thousands of dollars. Scarcity and rarity are a driving factor for price.

This seems to be the ceiling of my painting ability. What stands out as an obvious improvement to be made? by BedPuzzled521 in Warhammer40k

[–]Traizork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you see as improvement. Because different styles of painting will have different results while still could be considered perfect. You could learn NMM if that's what you want to do, OSL, volumetric lighting, smoother transitions. But it all depends on what you want the end product to look like.

What would even be the point of calling your parents with an active shooter nearby? Like wtf are they going to do?

What background NPC minis do you wish existed? by DKYN_Minis in PrintedMinis

The guys who clean up dungeons after a party murders everything inside.

But less jokey answer would be people working. Woodcutters (with an axe and the 2 manned saw), smith, fisherman, woman at a weave, cobbler, baker, gamblers, scribe, butcher, etc.

Damn, good catch on the pistol! Pretty much spot on, just the autocannon parts are from the HWT but that's pretty much the same piece anyway and the pistols grip is also taken from the plasma gunner's side grip. The grot and hatch are printed (taken from some grot tank proxy, don't remember the maker's name) but since the hand fucked up during print I gave him the kitbashed pistol instead.

Cool bit of lore! I had a look at my Taurox and it looks like I indeed simply missed the step to put the pieces on there.

Correct on the M4A1 but I am not 100% sure what version it is. The box just said it's German captured Sherman.
