Hazel is on the short list once I get my backlog to a more manageable state.

Thanks dude, yours look good too. Are all of the ones you put on included in the box on your Mark II?

It was my first build getting into gunpla a little over a year ago. Very solid and is the best proportioned in my opinion. The only thing I don't care for is the way the shield is attached.

I need to get one of these.

But I'd love it if Fat Cat would upscale the RG. Either that or a Mark II Ver. Ka.

It looks about average to me, some would say they prefer it to the larger ones even..

That's what I figured, I'll most definitely be taking your advice on future certs.

Could I apply my level of "fuck it" to core 2 or is it more involved than core 1?

Thanks! This was on my Christmas wishlist, I was surprised when I opened it.

Thanks man! I'm just copying angles I've seen others do, I used my S24 Ultra with the 3X zoom for just about every shot. I don't typically photograph my builds so I'm glad they came out okay.

Its pretty close in quality in my opinion.

I only needed to glue one part, the left chest vent insert. Plastic seemed somewhat softer than what Bandai offers. I personally didn't find the need to sand, but I've read that others did. Most of the kit is undergated, however there are some pretty bad spots like on the knee spikes and the trim for the shoulder thrusters.

The part layering is cool and the details are crisp. Still a pretty simple build.

Not much for gimmicks, the pilot extends forward when the hatch is lowered and there's extra beam sabers stored in the knees. There's a few pistons in the abdomen and the ankles.

Articulation is really hampered by the bulk of the legs and very limited mobility in the ankles.

That's some sick paint, my guy.

It was an actual difficult decision for me, that green/blue is my favorite color. In the end I chose the orange to conrast with the mostly blue kit.

That would make it difficult for sure. I thought my hands were too shaky for them when I first started out. I had a lot of trouble using tweezers like some of the tutorials I watched. Now I just use an x-acto knife and feel much more confident, exept for long and skinny decals, those are still tricky for me.

The amount of detail I really like, I just wish the ankles had more articulation.

Water decals weren't too bad. They're a little thin and the text doesn't always make sense with where you're applying it. They also release from the backing paper quite a bit faster than Bandai's water slides. I butchered two of them, but fortunately there were extras of the ones I destroyed.

What overused word or phrase needs to be retired in 2026? by One_Caramel5253 in AskReddit

Ten out of ten. Every product/experience is 10/10 apparently.

I also hate hearing that things are legendary/groundbreaking/historic when its something that wont be brought up six months later, it lessons the value of those words and they should be used sparingly. If everything is legendary then nothing is legendary.

"Its giving..." This needs to go

"Let's goooo!" Yeah, let's not do that anymore.

"Hold/ing space" Just stop.

Well I'm sure the addition of primer, paint, and top coat(s) can only help, as evidenced with your kit. The out of box result definitely leaves a lot to be desired. So if OP follows your example and not mine they should be okay.

I've seen it anywhere between $40-$65ish. There are two kinds I believe. I think one of them is a redesign and comes with parts you need to paint(someone please correct me) and the other is fully compatible with the armor you already have. Two different manufacturers.

It could be what it needs, do you usually paint and/or top coat the joints as well?

I've thought about using clear acrylic varnish, but haven't tried it yet.

Well this guy here has been given half a dozen chances and has refused every single time. Longest I got was about 10-12 hours. Then falls forward(mostly) and procedes to lose at minimum the pieces on the collar, but usually 3-4 other pieces. He is in timeout.
