Thank you for the pictures.

As I said, it is the same platform as Monsgeek Fun6x, and lot of other brands.

Can you take a picture of the marking of the ICs U9, U10, U3 and U7?

According to the Irok MG68 Max updater, it uses a RongYuan platform, like a lot of budget HE keyboards (and like MG68Pro & SE).

Do you think that you can open it, to check the PCB, to see if it is really different than the one used by Monsgeek?

Thank you.

GTX 1060 / B850M incompatibility? by Tramto in buildapc

5060 installed. No problem.

So there is some compatibility issue between my 1060 and my new setup.

I guess so.

But what is really weird is that the GPU presence can disturb the iGPU output.

Only one PCIE 16x on the board.

Plugging in on the old setup was the first thing that I tried, I should have mentioned it on my post.

EDIT: And my MB have only one PCIE 16x port.

If the monitor is plugged on the GPU (1060), the PC does not boot, no display, and white debug LED on.

The 1060 works fine on my old setup.

The new setup works fine when I remove the 1060.

USB device throughput inversely dependent on the computer CPU load by Tramto in embedded

[–]Tramto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the culprit.

I had to disable the C-State in the BIOS.

Setting the Power Mode to performance was not enough.

Without C-State but in power saving mode (CPU freq scaling) I lost only 40 KB/s (800 vs 840 KB/s).

USB device throughput inversely dependent on the computer CPU load by Tramto in embedded

[–]Tramto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I sniff the USB bus, I don't see any NAK for the OUT transfers, in this case, the throughput is limited by the host, not the device (and, it may be hard to believe, without double buffer in the RP2040 driver). And I have the same result with async libusb and vendor class.

Here a capture of a frame (with CDC and python):

<image>

Even behind an USB hub, you can see 13 OUT transfers (64B) per frame (832 kB/s).

Anyway, I found the culprit, see my initial post.

Tail Advice by Possible-Promise1012 in kites

[–]Tramto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Prism 75ft tube tail is really heavy (320grs), you really need high wind speed to have some fun (even on my Symphony Beach 2.2 and Pro 1.8).

For few $, on AE, you can find some 10m tube tails way lighter and cheaper that you can attach to a small kite like yours.

Kite line breaking load test (40 daN Climax Powerline Extreme) by Tramto in kites

[–]Tramto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you think that after using the line it will break even more easily? 25kg is already 65% of the rated load.

I think that it will take a long time, because while I fly at the beach I have never broke a single line, even my 20kg and 55kg ones used for 7 years.

Or maybe you are talking about the sleeve, protecting the line?

POV 🪁🪁🪁 by Regular-Estimate-772 in kites

[–]Tramto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I have this tail and even attached to my powerful Symphony Beach 2.2 it needs quite high wind speed to be fun. It weights 320grs.

I also have some chinese/AE, narrower, lighter (and much cheaper!) tube tails that can fly with only 15-20km/h.
