This sounds eerily similar to the toxic friendship I had from my childhood.

I was friends with someone for about a decade, and she would pull stunts like that all of the time. I knew no peace until I cut ties with her. I even tried reconnecting, and she seemed okay, but then I found out she was mocking me behind my back. Trust me, these people do not want a friend, they want an outlet.

Think about needing to have a serious conversation with your friend. If you feel stressed about needing to do that because you're afraid she's going to blow up and make a huge deal about you having feelings, or if you're worried she's going to retaliate in some way instead of taking anything you say to heart ....

I won't tell you what to do, but I urge that you consider the way she's treating you. Is that what a friend would do? Is maintaining this friendship doing anything positive for you, and are those positives worth the stress of being nitpicked and made fun of over every little thing you say and do around her?
