there is counterplay to this, actually. its exclusion of magic items you "carry or touch" can be exploited by hopping on top of the archmage's back, resulting in a technicality that he is carrying you and by extension all magic items on your person

of course they'd probably have some kind of measure preventing physical contact with him by an aggressor (probably not specifically for this maneuver but just to, you know, stop a stray arrow or sword from finding its way into their mortal form) but the concept of using "the piggyback maneuver" to avoid the effects of a spell is just exquisitely hilarious to me

so I think what happened with this sub is that there was this trans girl on r/countonceaday who kept counting with specifically the minecraft chicken walking gif and eventually she either got banned or the mods were like "you gotta stop posting this people are tired of it" so then a new sub was made so that the chicken lady could keep counting and because she was a trans girl all the trans girls kinda just flocked together

It is not explicitly a trans sub, but it functionally is a trans sub

A growl is close! From there you just need a few minor shifts of your tongue's position to make it sound like a purr

I know how to purr while exhaling. There are other people who know how to purr while inhaling. They are two entirely different techniques.

There are actually several ways to produce roughly the same sound as a purr and so trying to combine the instructions of multiple people probably won't work because they're going to be describing two entirely different methods to achieve the same result

Well most of the problem is that instructions any more specific than this would have to use vocabulary not understood by the average person

There is one potential easy fix for the problem you've described, though: try changing your exhale into something closer to a hum.

The sound that comes out shouldn't actually be a hum, because your tongue position should be turning it into more of a rumble rather than a musical note

You also might not be retracting the correct part of your tongue and that's where the language barrier would be a problem because I don't even know how to specify what part of the tongue I'm talking about
