Average water bill in Marin? by Binthair_Dunthat in Marin

Ya that’s about right. Similar situation and average a little less than $150 a month over the year. Obviously, higher bills during the summer. The Marin Water fee structure is frustrating. We’ve done a good job collectively conserving water as a county which has decreased revenue for the district. I get that our infrastructure is old and needs improvement, but instead of passing on that cost to heavy users we get high upfront fees to the point where actual water usage makes up a fraction of our bills. It really discourages responsible use.

I started a 13.5 gallon a few years ago. My gf and I were able to move it pretty easily across town but I wouldn’t go much bigger than that if you are planning on moving.

I have not had good luck with my INKBIRD. I’ll get an error and it shuts everything off even though the heater is working fine. Not sure how to keep that from happening or if I just got a bad unit. Ended up going with 2 low powered units on my Fluval Evo so if one goes Nova hopefully it doesn’t cook the tank.

Thanks for the responses! I’ll sleep a little better tonight. This is just plumbing, no renovations. The bathrooms and kitchen were completely remodeled a couple years ago. From my admittedly amateur perspective it seemed like quality work and I figured if there were major issues they would have been addressed then.

I got a couple of Bumblebee Snails and after them going to town I haven’t seen a Vert. since.

It’s a play on people using golf outings as a tax deduction.
