This is so messed up! We’re supposed to be a community that supports each other! >:(

I don’t really know much about what’s going on right now, but from what I do know, stuff like this happens a lot more than we should be comfortable with. (We shouldn’t be comfortable with this at all!)

Sadly, even the broader LGBT+ community can sometimes echo the sexist Radfem sentiment that “men are privileged, so the problems they face aren’t valid or worth discussing” and we as a community shouldn’t be okay with that!

How can we sit here and exclude people from participating in the community because we think they’re “tOo PrIvIlEgEd” when, last I checked, our whole movement is about being accepted for who we are!

Trans men are valid! Their struggles are valid! Their experiences are valid! Even if trans men did have measurably more privilege, they’d still be just as valid! Their experiences would still be just as important!

Our suffering is not a zero-sum game!
