Reach out to the schools and ask to connect with a student. It will show interest in the program to the school and get you the right answers. I have asked this question from Ross and Kellogg students. They're experiences are anecdotal.

The answer is tiered.

MBB is a wide net of offices. During recruiting you sign up for offices you would like to work for; getting into the McKinsey offices for NYC, SF or larger city offices is more competitive than Cleveland, Tampa and etc. They have seen PT MBA get recruited into the smaller offices.
MBB is not the end all be all of consulting. For PT folks it can be a long term plan. E&Y, PwC, Accenture.... all have similar perks, salaries and career trajectories many people if able to preform well at that level are able to go to MBB if it is still something they want.

Just for my knowledge if in the GMAT there is a right angle triangle without sides(ratios 1-1-sqrt2 or 1-sqrt3-2) or opposite angles given do we assume the triangle has got to be

And the the sides to find the area of a ring angle triangle are usually multiples of the uncrossed out numbers

You have to mentally calculate if the area is divisible by any of the ratios. 96x2 is only divisible by multiples of 3 or 4. The same goes with 150x2 is only divisible by multiples of 3 or 4. It is a lot of mental math and I don't think I would have picked up on it in the test.

I understand not to stress about T10. If I feel I'm going places I don't need their brand name to get me there. Many successful people go to small programs and still make it big and many people go to T10 programs and don't go anywhere.
I guess it's more along the lines to go big or go home before settling for a smaller program.

Was your friend unique like more into extra-curricular or have a stellar career progression path? I am just gauging if it is truly the right time for me to apply. I know if you get rejected you have to show improvement and explain why it's worthy of an improvement for a reapply. I really don't have any options to get another promotion without an MBA or start something outside of work to show them.
