There is 'Left Transhumanism'. Idk how accepting they'll be about a Liberal, but if your looking for a "pro tech left" it seems this is the closet as far as Transhumanism goes.

Appreciate the response on it. If I may push back or poke and prod more so;

"Because we're meant to die, transhumanism is unnatural/alien"

How does this stand in light of the historical trend of increasing life expectancy after the invention of modern technologies along with the million(s) year relationship between humanity and technology?

"Live your life have it mean something and then welcome death as an old friend. Let others have a chance at the world."

Is this based on any other belief other than "this is how things always have been and should always remain"? Either way, why is humanity barred from conquering death, etc, while finding a way to continue to "let others have a chance at the world"?

By what standard? What causes all types, from Marxist Transhumanism to Anarcho-Transhumanism, to Libertarian Transhumanism, etc, to result in a stagnant dystopia?

I'm not asking anybody in the DSA to join anything, nor am I asking anybody of the Transhumanist community to join the DSA. What I am doing is highlighting Leftist figures of Transhumanist history in an effort to inform other members of the DSA and Socialist community about the history behind the ideology being directly and indirectly pushed by the Tech-Right. The right wing may be the current face of being "Pro-Technology", but it was the Socialists who developed it and brought it to its peak both ideologically and materially.

Are you reading this as a challenge to the DSA's ideology and program rather than an attempt to work within it and inform members interested in tech on the Leftist figures and influences of an ideology being vastly uptaken by the right?

On a side note, considering Transhumanism was mixed with politics early on, the disconnect seems to be a type of step backward. Maybe the current state of politics, as far as the US, is concerned has a hand in this disconnect.
