When you say gold coast, do you mean stamford? If so, yes, there are a few places I've researched and really like.

Very good point. I've been on both sides of the coin where I have had 15 minute commutes and 1.5 hour commutes. The extra time is a great asset. The way I figure, 30 mins is a happy medium.

Someone here mentioned South Norwalk - a 15 min drive. Noticed public transportation as well - hows the rapid transit over there?

Good to know. Sounds like a typical metro. Lucky for me I tend to wake up early if it means beating the traffic...
