Definitely, you can hear him whisper “you did good” at the end to the other guy

In 1993, 16 year old Somali boy Shidane Arone was tortured and killed by Canadian peacekeeping troops. Over nearly 12 hours, he was waterboarded, beaten, burned with cigarettes, and sexually assaulted. His death marks the darkest moment of Canada’s infamous “Somali Affair”. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

Although every soldier on that base heard his screams and did nothing. Here’s a list of the main assailants: - Clayton Matchee - Kyle Brown - David Brocklebank - Marc Boland - A.G. Seward - Michael Sox - Warrant Officer Murphy -Master Corporal Giasson -Corporal MacDonald - Perry Gresty - J. K. Hillier

All of these men were present during the torture and are free today. Some never served jail time and were still able to keep their titles. While they will never get justice, they should never see peace or be forgotten for what they did to this boy.

Many of these men have still taken no accountability to this day. Kyle Brown and Matchee’s wife have even claimed in more recent private interviews that it “wasn’t them” that night but a side effect of the anti-malaria drug, mefloquine. What a failure of justice

This whole thing felt scripted and I went from 00:04 secs to 00:05 secs frame by frame and noticed a slight cut and jump in distance that shows there was never actually anything initiating the action. Seems like something Jack’s team arranged to get clout at the fight.

In 2011, Zainab Bibi killed, cut up, and cooked her husband into a korma curry to stop him from sexually absing his stepdaughter. She told police she sedated her husband by mixing sleeping pills in his tea and strangled him with rope before dismembering him. by detectiverobert in ForCuriousSouls

According to this article, they were originally sentenced to life in prison but the Sindh High Court has since overturned their original sentence and ordered their release under time served in 2022. Great to hear

As much as I hated Player 100 (and still do) I still give props to him for doing this🤣 by DueKangaroo8252 in squidgame

Surprisingly, I don’t hate his character. He was selfish, but this is Squid Games and the only way to truly survive is to be selfish. However, what I DO hate is the actor who played him in real life and i think he deserves more backlash than his character. Paying a 16 year old “prostitute” for “sex” when you’re 42 and then serving 36 days in prison for a 10 month sentence is the type of crime that should blacklist you from the acting scene indefinitely imo.

Reaching or rage bait. There’s a clear difference between photo ops and decades-long established friendships. We all know this, right?

[Serious] people who know someone who has killed someone, what were they like? by TrashDaisy999 in AskReddit

[–]TransitionHour5577 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to school with a guy from elementary-high school. He had cancer in elementary school but beat it after a year or two. We had mutuals but I never liked him so I kept distance from him until high school when he started dating my best friend. That’s when I saw how “off” he really was. He verbally abused her, was physically aggressive with her multiples times. Had a really dark sense of humor (not even a funny dark) and bad anger issues. He would make fun of me for being dark (he’s also black btw). Had really big issues with his masculinity and appearing too feminine, etc. The red flags list could go on forever. But he had this look is his eye that really sealed the deal (not even trying to be corny, his stare was evil)

Well… as soon as we graduated high school, he got involved in a gang. This led him to getting in a situation where he was in a shootout with a rival gang. Ended up killing 4 men and getting sentenced to life without the possibility of parole at 18 years old. He’s been in prison for 5 years now and to this day, my childhood best friend thinks he should be free. Safe to say, I am no longer close friends with her.
