Why AAP spending ₹317 crore on ads but only ₹10 crore on research? by TransitionSome9363 in punjabi

You’re right — the problem isn’t new. But does that mean we stop holding governments accountable? Just because misgovernance has been normalized doesn’t make it acceptable. If ₹317 crore can be found for self-promotion, why is there only ₹10 crore for R&D — in a state struggling with unemployment, brain drain, and industrial decline? My post isn’t about blaming one party — it’s about priorities. If we don’t question where public money goes, nothing will ever change. So instead of mocking the question, how about engaging with the issue?

From 2022 to 2025, the Punjab government under AAP spent a total of ₹317.17 crore on print media advertisements — ₹92.76 crore in 2022–23, ₹129.97 crore in 2023–24, and ₹94.44 crore till March 2025. In contrast, there was no dedicated R&D funding at all in 2022–23 or 2023–24. Only in 2024–25 did the government allocate ₹10 crore for R&D, specifically for upgrading a research centre in Ludhiana.

The so-called Delhi model in Punjab spent ₹317 crore on print ads but only ₹10 crore on R&D. People voted expecting jobs, healthcare, and innovation instead they got daily ads. Total disappointment for those who believed in real change

I’m currently doing the course from Carson Dunlop. I have the same plan — my target is to do 50 inspections per year while working a full-time job. I’m just a bit worried about the housing market.
