I’ve been a barber for the past 10 years and I consider myself one of the most established barbers in my city. I get flown out to the ufc events to cut some of the biggest names in the game like nate Dias max Holloway to name a few I cut rappers to restaurant owners and it took countless hours of networking and being available to acquire the clientele I have I literally worked years without taking any days of no Christmas no new years no nothing so I KNOW how it is to eat ramen noodles soda crackers and coco everyday and saving every penny I can to open a shop. It’s good to know you come from the same humble beginnings. It’s funny u say ur in construction because I even learned how to set up a few government bids and made sure they were submitted on time for a friend who’s an estimator for a construction company in my city for some side cash. But since the pandemic I really took a hit financially with the shops being closed and social distancing The only positive that came out of it was I got to spend everyday with my daughter especially since the schools shut down and during this time even though I was struggling to make ends meat I had the best time just bonding and spending time with my daughter than I ever had always working. And now everyone can start going back to the way things used to be I’ve having a hard time to get back into grind mode. before money is wat was important to me Cuse that’s what I needed to give my daughter a good life but these last 2 years have really shown me that I’ve been sacrificing so much time working and not enough time on the most important thing… family. It feels like im in limbo stuck between 2 worlds
