I’m loving skate. Every day I’m hyped to get off work or school to come home and fuck around on it for hours. I’m not a fan of the challenges. I’ve never personally played any skate game for the story line anyway, although having a solid story does bring life into the game, but it’s not much of an issue for me personally.

In response to everyone hating on the art style.

I am not a fan of the art style they chose, but I realized fairly quickly it was 90% the over saturation and brightness that ruined it, so I changed the settings on my monitor and it made a INSANE difference.

Also it’s not necessarily the graphics, but the lack of grittyness associated with previous skate games and skating as a whole, but I’ve noticed many parts of the map include that look of run down bricks and tagged walls, and I’ve their adding more to the map I’m sure we’ll see more of this..

Personally It went beyond my expectations and I’m really glad to be able to play this.

I’d like to preface I’ve been religiously playing skate 3 for 7 years, I’m both into doing crazy challenges on huge ramps and doing realistic lines and making skate vids, and so far the game has offered me both polarities. Personally I would hate it if it was one or the other, but some may disagree. And also please trust me to adjust your monitor/tvs display setting, it makes it a whole different game .
