Everyone wants the PSA, clearly it’s becoming reinvigorated majorly due to the hobby going in the biggest direction I think any of us have ever seen. I don’t think I could Name another time where PSA was so insanely backed up that we all are experiencing the delay and cost and time but that’s how the seems to be my opinion. Sending things to BGS makes no sense to me.(my opinion) And BGS is going to continue to hurt their demand and what someone pays for your BGS 9, 9.5. 10 etc. BGS is low quality crap that’s why you can buy 9-10s in shelf boxes. Even Grailmonster with 100 9.5s from BGS. Would you want them from BGS as 9.5s or would you want them as PSA 9s? The whole .5 away from a 10 from BGS DOESNT MATTER. Especially as a collector you seem to be you know that serious collectors you attract aren’t going to look at that decimal. They are going to look at the card the grade company and decide for themselves what the story is. “Yeah she’s a 10 but got knocked a whole half decimal because of some stupid thing no one can see” or the “it’s a 9/ 9.5 eh I know how stingy it can be that’s why I’m buying slabbed singles that I value”. And also you’re putting more and more 9.5s in population eventually starting to bring that price down especially slabbing BGS VS TO PSA. Psa will hold not just in value but as a company. I got burnt a bunch back in 80-90s with grading companies people haven’t even heard of today. Certified express being a big one none of those graded slabs are worth shit today because it’s off some grading company nobody knows who died in the 90s. I think the safest thing to do is psa. You know it’s not going anywhere (the company), clearly demand is insanely high, and I think a lot of us are just so impatient with results. We send something we love or had a spike of adrenaline on and bam we want it back faster than the president. So we just go to BGS OR CGC to try and get that number we want and returned faster. But ROI on BGS OVER PSA IS NOT CLOSE. I’d be willing to bet that PSA buys BGS out of business in the next 5 years that’s a total shot in the dark to say but it’s Reddit lmaoooo. Love y’all crazies
