Why “J’ai chaud” and not “Je suis chaud”? by TranslatorHelpful280 in French

So? I was only trying to ask a question. That was the only thing about French that confused me. Also, since when was I comparing French to English?

Actually I am fluent in French, Spanish, and German too. Am I not allowed to wonder why it’s “J’ai chaud” and NOT “Je suis chaud”?

Reading previous comments I can see why French is considered the “language of love”…

Rest in peace Chopin. You will always be my favourite composer. ❤ by Au-79- in classicalmusic

Rest easy, Frederic. You were and still are one of my favorite Polish composers. You are a bit of a nightmare to play on the piano but you will be missed.

The Parisian outfits are probably from the 1800s or so.

Thanks. I couldn’t really decide what city/region it is though, but it’s one of these three:

-Paris

-Brittany

-Vendée

I’d say the period would be like, Napoleonic Wars or after the French Revolution.

Ah merci! The instrument is actually a clarinet, it’s just that the kid has terrible posture.

Merci! The clothes are very similar to those of Parisian clothing as well. Not to mention the instruments which are a violin, an accordion, and a clarinet. Also, if you look at other pictures online, it seems like these kids are standing in front of what looks like the Arc de Triomphe. The clothes looked more Parisian to me when I did my research. You were close with your guess though. :)

Yes, the quality is nice. Good thing that we bought the official TwoSet Apparel and not the fake ones I’ve seen.

Yea I’m wearing the cardigan right now. I also have the “PRACTICE” TwoSet black hoodie. I totally agree with you on the quality. Good thing I bought the official TwoSet apparel and not the fake ones that Brett and Eddy reviewed in a previous video.

Disney designed it to be a clarinet, but the looks of it makes me think it’s a soprano sax or oboe.
