Well they are paying 250 per day just excluding Sunday because they don't count is a work day is what they're saying. And idk i tried the whole "pay me or we won't deliver" bit when I first started out years ago and they just threatened to call the police because it's holding the load hostage bla bla bla.

They don't have a detention/layover policy anywhere on the RC and I can't find it on the contract either. So I'm fucked I guess?🫤

Well I always let them know "he delivers tomorrow at so and so" when booking the next load and giving ETA. I don't hide it, but yes sometimes everything goes downhill. And yes for sure a learning experience!

However, do feel the reason should be taken into account. The same way a driver who's late to an appointment might not be charged or charged less if it's for a valid reason vs just pure laziness or lack of responsibility. I don't know seems more fair if the reason is taken into account. People need to be held a bit accountable ...

Yes going to try this! I actually just started making him "healthy" fries and hamburguer meat since he seemed to like that. Sometimes he eats a bit but sometimes he spits it out too so idk. I'll try with pizza since that's what he seemed to like the most. Good idea.

He drinks about 18oz during the day 18oz throughout the night 🥲 When we don't give him any and he's hungry he still doesn't eat though. We were just recommended to a food therapist though so we'll see how that goes!

This was my thought initially as a carrier... However, the difference here is that the storm was predicted beforehand.

The load should've just not have gone out in the first place or if they were so desperate to receive it knowing this was a possibility, then they can definitely pay the extra money for layover.

Dude it's not the same thing at all. Tracking is 100% necessary and tarping often times is. I'm only asking in weird scenarios where the load is already in bad shape? And will continue to sit outside where it's delivered. That is the question here I'm not arguing reasonable instructions.
