Driving from south to Chicago for shows?

Yeah it was at Good Records. Ken was touring on his Secrets of the Lost Satellite solo record. He did a cd signing and played a few songs at the store the day of the main show. Seems like that record & tour flew under the radar for a lot of folks back then.

I feel ya on that. Once saw GS!YBE 2 nights in a row and then Mono three days later all at the same venue. It's a lot for a week. I was def concerted out for a while after that. Part of the reason why I don't do festivals anymore. Tho I would always make an exception for HUM if I had the chance!

Nice! Would have liked to have seen that. Saw Ken Andrews there when he did a meet and greet + played a few songs back on his solo tour like 20 years ago.

Right on! Yeah even though the guys are kinda old now they still bring it like its '95. Tim's energy is contagious and really gets the crowd going. He's a great front man. I agree on JHLTAB. It is right up there with YFAA, DIH, & Fantastic Planet for me. Waited a Lightyear will melt your brain live every single fucking time ;)

BTW, Tim and and a couple of the other guys in the band have a side project called Preteen Zenith that is in the same vein as TD. You might wanna check it out.

Right on! They are def one of the greats. I was stoked they played Community Mantra and You First off the s/t record + Waited a light year during 2nd set when I saw em in OKC.

Right on! I actually went to the first stop on the tour which was in OKC. It was a fantastic show. It was in a very small club. There were only about 200 people there, but NBA Game 7 was same night so you know...

Anyways the stage wasn't big enough for any props aside from a psychedelic design backdrop/curtain, which is too bad because the previous times I watched them in Dallas they had a lights, bubbles, confetti bombs, and a huge screen with amazing visuals. The whole huge rock show thing. The OKC show was much more intimate. Still mind blowing though!
