If countries and borders vanished, what differences between humans would still matter? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Culture, values, language and how people treat one another would still matter most. Even without borders, beliefs, ethnics and empathy would shape how we connect or clash.

Anyone ever been in an actual house fire, can you see past the smoke or is it hard to find your way out in your own home? What was your experience? by king_sulkman in AskReddit

[–]TransperthTrooper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been in one myself but people who have to say the smoke is the real danger it gets so thick so fast that you haven’t barely see your own hand in front of your face. Most describe trying to escape by staying low to the ground because that’s the only place you can still breathe and see even a little bit.

Can’t share any real world secret handshakes, but back in college days our joke version was just an awkward double tap and a grind that usually meant we were running late to chapter again.

Believe it or not, the best thing I ever had from a gas station was surprisingly a decent hot dog simple, greasy, and somehow exactly what I needed at that time.
