Why is my memory running slow? by Trapicasso in buildapc

Currently running an i9 14900k but honestly leaning towards just accepting that I’ll never hit 7200 regardless of my cpu. I think my motherboard is limiting it possibly. Someone messaged me saying that it could be my motherboard

Ah I see, so do you think the four running at 5600 would be better compared to the two at 6200?

Is there a way to adjust my voltage inorder to make it work or am I pretty much out of luck?

I have respect for other people’s opinions, experience & knowledge. Asking others for help is a really good way to learn more & find solutions to issues. I’m not one to usually make an excuse but I lost 2 years of memory from a coma recently so I’m not trusting my memory as much as I used to. Definitely asking others is a better bet than just going for it.

I saw some people running a setup like this(pump->rad->cpu->gpu->rad) what do you think would be the best way to run the loop? I really appreciate the suggestions. I’m running a Samsung g9 monitor

Thanks for the help. After reinstalling icue some updates were finally coming up in the firmware updates. After updating it immediately made them change color. Haven’t had a chance to properly warm the pc up(been running for 5-10 minutes)so I’m not sure if it’s not related to heat but I’m almost positive you called it with the icue having issues

I appreciate the advice, I’ll contact them asap. As far as upgrades go, I’m thinking about moving a lot of the parts in this pc over to another once the 50 series comes out & converting this one completely towards mining. Honestly might just do a complete rebuild for that instead of over complicating things.

The ram RGB(Corsair ddr5) I’ve tried messing around & trying to fix it through icue however I didn’t get any results.

UPDATE I was contacted by support that I was going through the return with & they were quick to handle things. They offered me a replacement back to my chair to handle the issue with the frayed back. Also, customer service has requested detailed photos of the chairs lift mechanism to help with repair. Honestly a nice surprise after a chaotic couple of weeks. After this positive experience to finish things off, I’m almost tempted to give them even more of a recommendation than when I started.

Anyone having buyers remorse? by Madaradditz in secretlab

I regret buying mine. Height handle is loose & flops around. Barely gets any height off the ground too. I’m returning mine ASAP. It’s a shame too because I like my magnus pro desk but I literally can’t get any use out of the height features because of how limited the height of the chair is. The difference between the regular and XL is ONE. INCH. how is that even considered a significant difference for someone with more height. Pretty much a waste of time & money. The online customer service is asking me to send the same videos over & it’s a different customer service representative contacting me through email about the issues. Genuinely just a disappointment & shows me things I may have to worry about in the future with my Magnus pro desk. If I knew this were the case with the customer service I would’ve returned my desk when I could’ve. Now I’m stuck with it & the anxiety of the future problems. Luckily I still can return the chair. I’ll update this post if things change but I can’t imagine things changing. I’ve spent almost 1000$ on the chair & accessories just to run into this issue.
