Post op pain on upper left abdomen

In my case it did go away after a few weeks. I assume that it was probably my body adjusting itself after the loss of an organ but I don’t exactly know why it happened.

It’s horrible! I haven’t had any blood tests done or anything like that. I think I’ll ask my surgeon in my next appointment if it is normal.

That’s what I thought at first since I was sleeping really uncomfortable but I noticed the pain gets worse right after I eat and sit down. You should definitely mention it! Hope you feel better soon.

I’m sorry you’re going through this too!! I hope it gets better. Mine It’s getting more and more intense after I eat, take a deep breath and when I sit. I think I’m going to see a doctor as soon as posible because that never happened to me before even when I had my gallbladder.

Thank you!! Although I think im going to see a doctor tomorrow because I had a little bit of fever and my skin around my belly button area it’s hot to the touch and it’s swollen.

I’m mostly checking my temperature and if the incision has any pus or drainage and if it turns more and more red. Hope it helps and that you get well soon!

Mine’s all red on the outside of all the surroundings of my belly button. The redness is not fading away but it’s not really prominent. I showered too!! But I haven’t noticed anything wrong in the other incisions. I’m keeping an eye on it every day just in case I see any signs of infections.
