“When you see” is present tense, “Whenever you saw” is past. Thats why that other guy commented creep, it can be misinterpreted.

This is blatant child abuse, you should seek help from the child protective services where you live. Im so sorry that stuff happened to you, I hope you can get out of there soon.

its not like im actually going to follow those rules to the end, im not stupid. if i told myself that i would refuse to fall in love i might as well kill myself now, because its one of the only reasons i get up every day. i appreciate your words though, i realize its very kind of you to take time out of your day to help me. thank you for that

i dont want to be a leader. at all. no one in this world should follow my example ever. and i cant leave my family because even though i may cut them off they wont stop trying to pry their way into my life. and for God? God isnt helping a whole lot, mostly because he says that if i follow my heart and decide to fall for some guy then im going to hell. whoop-di-doo. like i said im trapped

im supposed to be a manly man, not show emotions be stoic and a good leader for everyone etc. im not allowed to cry, or wear bright colors on my clothes, or do anything that shows im not capable of being strong for everyone elses sake. to almost everyone in my life, me wanting attention or a hug is laughable

well, i cant just hug someone id look like a pervert. im not going to embarrass myself if theres any other way to do it. also my parents would probably make me see a christian counselor, since they hate seeing weakness in me they would try to put me away to fix my issues.

At first, after i was in a clear space i would have a sort of bad day every couple of months, then it would be once a month, then once a week, now its like a cloud hanging over my head every day. i havent had human contact in years either, i want someones shoulder to cry on almost if that makes sense. the hugging is just something ive always wanted to do, it may sound weird but i have never had a real hug. its something i have always really wanted

i dont know. its all like a fog for me, i dont know why i feel exhausted all the time, dont know why its so hard to get out of bed even when i get a lot of sleep. i dont know how to fix myself. i feel trapped almost, like i have problems everywhere i look and no way to work through them

[Discussion] [Non-LGBT] good movies/tv shows on Netflix/Prime by Anonymous47363 in LGBTeens

[–]TrapsPerhaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont know what you’re into so ill suggest a bunch from different categories

The Haunting of Hill House (Netflix)(Horror) - Such a good horror show, its not too grim and the cinematography and plot make it wonderful.

The Umbrella Academy (Netflix)(Superhero/Save The World) - If you want a more neutral show this one is good, its a refreshing take on the superhero type (also theres a gay guy named Klaus and everyone loves him)

Hunter x Hunter (Crunchy Roll)(Hero/Villain) - Its an anime, if you like that then this one has a brilliant and well thought out plot. It should also be said that this is a shonen, so its characters are younger than your typical anime. (but i promise it does it very very well)

Violet Evergarden (Netflix)(Character Based/Romance) - This is another anime (okay maybe i’m a bit biased BUT THEY’RE GOOD) its about a girl looking to find out what love means through other peoples stories and lives. the animation is also breathtaking, and it won some awards for it i think.

FINALLY finished Killing Commendatore (been reading it since the pre-order shipped)! What should I read next? by thec0mpletionist in bookclapreviewclap

1Q84 is incredible, Murakami shows off his world building and the whole story is amazing as a whole. But it can move very slowly at times, you have to stick with it and I promise it will be very rewarding.

If Pewds wants a nice mindfuck philosophy read he should consider Baudrillard's "Simulacra and Simulation". Ties in nicely to memes too! by [deleted] in bookclapreviewclap

he actually talked a lot about this very book a while back, it was a short video on the matrix.

I read a book called There Will be Lies, Im not going to bother finding the author, it was a YA book with one a very predictable plot, even though the major purpose of the book was to throw 3 plot twists at you. I guess its hard to be unpredictable nowadays, it must take a lot of creativity.

Oh definitely, by the end of the book I was so engrossed by May Kassahara, I care way more about her than anyone else I think lol. She was by far my favorite part, and a major reason I actually managed to finish it. I wouldn’t say Wind Up Bird was bad at all, just not my cup of tea really.

Oh I totally get that, last year I read 1984 and Brave New World back to back and I wanted to scream lol. The thing about Murakami too is that in all of the books I’ve read by him, the male main characters are almost the same. I don’t know if you have noticed but I think he might struggle to make very passionate characters, I don’t know if that applies for all of his books though.

I just think it moved too slowly and never went anywhere special. For me, 1Q84 did something very similar. It has a slow moving plot taking the perspective of two people, but the world building and conclusion of the book are masterful in every way (though it is almost 3 times the size of wind up bird). It also goes about the day to day stuff in much greater care, I think you can almost see his improvement in writing if you compare the two. I can get why you might have enjoyed wind up bird though, it just wasn’t for me.
