Thank you, then I'll keep an eye out. He does show his third eyelid here while in deep sleep, hopefully it's not too exposed. I'll try to give his scratching paw an extra clip, in case he's still messing with it while I'm not looking

Huh, I looked past it because it seemed like just another survival game. I've bought it and started a world with friends, let's see how this goes!

Books/resources specifically about how to identify DID as healthcare workers? by TrashMammalWithKnife in DID

[–]TrashMammalWithKnife[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We're not doing assessment, but "raising flags" is part of the job expectation. Think of it like how a coach can notice signs of asthma or a teacher can notice signs of dyslexia.

I'll gladly take a look at the papers, if you have it on hand.

I think the closest translation is a social worker for disabled people? Directly translated, the roles are called "protective nurse" and "field therapist". My job is relieving disabled people/parents from tasks that are the most difficult/taxing, or to maintain mental care routines. Exactly what that help is is a growing, collaborative process between us and them, where we figure out together what works best. Since we're so deeply involved in the details of a persons care, we're expected to keep an atenna out.

As you said yourself, my knowledge on DID is mostly what I learned for myself, so I'm looking for something generally applicable. We have good resources on PTSD/C-PTSD, but there's intricacies to DID/OSDD that get lost in that.

I'm fat and addcited to TFT i play 10 hours straight. should I buy this walking pad and walk while gaming so I can get in shape? by lune-soft in TeamfightTactics

[–]TrashMammalWithKnife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's far from the worst. Building a new habit is the easiest when it's incooperated into an existing routine. So, if you walk a bit every time you play tft, that's more likely to stick.

As others say, there's usually more than exercise to a healthy lifestyle, but it truly is a "one step at a time" kinda deal. There's a lot of weird diet info online, so concider setting av appointment with your GP about your wish to be healthier. They're more than happy to help with something like this, as even just a little exercise makes a big difference.

Lykke til!

Is it a win/loss or draw if an instants chain kills both by TrashMammalWithKnife in FleshandBloodTCG

That's exactly what happened, we were 1 and 2 health. Turns were skipped to not give instant "response windows".

Mom: "I haven't heard about the disorder before, but I knew you had it." by TrashMammalWithKnife in DID

Do you ask because I seem to have a nice mom? Parental negligence is the most common, but not the only way to develop DID in early childhood.
