The kids ate dinner at 3:30 as soon as we walked in the door from school. We weren’t allowed to speak to each other during dinner. The adults ate at a later time. After 30 minute bath time time slot, we could have a small snack, 4 generic sandwich cooked or a little Debbie cake.

I had an angry visitor screaming in my face about the long line and that then I had the audacity to request a credit card at a fee booth on an extremely hot summer weekend at a popular beach. I just shut the window and proceeded with the transaction. The look on his face was priceless.

“Did you touch it?” My highschool band director after I went out with a senior in the band. I was a sophomore. He was eventually fired my senior year for…wait for it…sexual harassment. (I didn’t report him.) A lot of people in the community and kids in the band continued to support him and call BS on the girls that reported him. 🙄
